Description

Specialties

Recycled granite pavers, split stone tiles, fire pits, planters, and other beautiful products are created using left-over countertop material from local granite and marble fabricators. It is a post-consumer waste stream that we divert from landfills. We use patented machinery to manufacture the «scrap» into various shapes and size. It is not crushed and reconstituted — it remains the natural, solid stone, just in a different shape and form. 100% of the granite is recycled, therefore preventing millions of pounds of waste from entering landfills each year. This process creates true «green jobs» and healthy, safe products for your indoor and outdoor projects.

History

Established in 2012.

Stacy and Bret Bjorkman are a brother and sister team working together to own and manage Granite Reworks.

Stacy discovered recycled granite while looking for a beautiful and environmentally friendly backsplash for her own kitchen, and after receiving a sample kit of split stone tiles was hooked on the concept! Knowing her brother would be the perfect business partner, she pitched the idea to Bret and Granite Reworks was born!

The pair are dedicated to minimizing unneccessary marble and granite waste, one stone at a time, and look forward to providing you with beautiful and environmentally friendly split stone tiles and landscaping pavers. Please feel free to contact us with questions.
