We are an online Farmers’ Market that offers free delivery of local produce, meats, dairy and baked goods to homes and offices. All of our family farms are located within 150 miles, and our goal is to bring you fresh and local produce within 48 hours dirt-​to-​doorstep. History

Established in 2010.

Farm Table started out as an organization that wanted to rebuild a community. We envisioned reconnecting Richmond’s families with local farmers who are dedicating their careers to growing real food. Our Farmers are committed to growing food sustainably and safely. They harvest their crops at the peak of ripeness and then we play our part by delivering their food, to you, within 48 hours of harvest. It can be tough to get to a weekly farmers’ market, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have access to the healthiest and freshest food available. We want to make sure that our Farm Table community has access to delicious produce, in a way that fits into any lifestyle. We’re now in our fifth season in 2015 and our vision lives on — and we are now the largest food co-​op in in Virginia! We serve Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Hampton Roads (Williamsburg to Virginia Beach), and some areas in Northern Virginia (all areas south of Route 50, and a few North.)

Meet the Business Owner

Duane S.

Business Owner

Duane grew up in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and Loudon County, Virginia. He spent his youth raising cattle and horses. Before founding Farm Table in 2010, Duane worked in the defense, financial information and gift industries. While running a family business with his wife designing Christmas décor, Duane helped raise his two children. While his kids were at home, Duane had a vegetable garden in the backyard, which helped feed his passion for locally grown, vine-​ripened tomatoes and green beans straight off the vine. «Anyone can grow great green beans and the taste right after harvesting isn’t something to be missed.» Wanting to share his joy of fresh produce, he began Farm Table with the goal of bringing local produce to Members within 48 hours — Dirt to Doorstep. He doesn’t have a garden now but still enjoys eating the fresh green beans coming from our local farmers.
