I have not seen Dr Easton but writing a review seemed to be the only way I could point out that this is NOT a ghetto area at all; it is simply an area right behind a main business strip (San Pablo Blvd.) so it is a mix of business and residential and thus less pretty (less trees) than the residential areas a few blocks over in either direction. The reviewer from Berkeley clearly knows nothing about Richmond geography if he or she thinks this is the ghetto. It is, in fact, one driveway/​parking alley from William’s Natural Foods health food store which is a nice place to shop with your nice newly-​clean teeth, (I gave 5 stars w/​o knowing any more about this dentist than others had written in order not to mess up his 5-​star rating that everyone else gave. I just wanted to point out this is NOT ghetto!)

I have been going to Dr. Easton since 2000 and I agree with the other reviewers, don’t let the building/​location deceive you. Best dentist I have ever visited. He is especially great with sensitive folks and if you need crowns/​bridges. Very thorough and exact, no hassle or issues. Highly recommended.

I absolutely adore DR. Easton. He is smart and personable and the office staff always make you feel like family. I’ve been a patient for close to five years and if he doesn’t have the solution he will find someone who does. Once– I brought my nephew by to see about making an appointment to get his wisdom tooth stitches out and he just took them out… Right then and there. Good service is hard to find. Especially in the medical field. I consider myself fortunate.

I’ve been going to Dr Easton since the 80s when I was five and because of him I have no fear of dentists. He’s gentle, caring, and he’s really into helping you to feel and look better than you did coming in. The staff is really great and make you feel welcome. I travel over an hour to go to him and I will continue.

I love Dr. Easton and his staff! No one likes going to the dentist, but this man is both smart and easy to talk to while you’re getting your pearly whites cleaned. He even made a cavity filling experience pleasant. Very happy with the service here and highly recommend going to him! The location throws you off, but don’t be fooled — he’s a dentist worth going to!

Dr. Easton is a PERSON who happens to be a dentist. He is not intimidating or judgmental about my bad dental hygiene and he explains things. He has worked with me on planning my course of treatment in a uniquely personalized way. I truly value the empathetic understanding that I get from this dentist and his staff. I recommend him highly.

Place looks old and in a ghetto area but the doctor is great! Has been coming here for the last 7 years. Don’t get distracted by the appearance: strongly recommended.
