Worst service of any cookout ever. I don’t go regularly, but I stay nearby for business, and when in town I like the milkshakes for a treat. I have never waited less than 10 minutes for food here, but tonight I was particularly frustrated. Why have two drive thru windows when you can’t keep up with one. After almost 15 minutes in line, 5 of them sitting at the order board, I finally get a response… the drive thru person says«can you give me a minute»…I already gave you 15 what’s the difference? Won’t be going back.

I have been here to this place a few times since I have been in town and I gotta tell you they never seem to disappoint me

Not impressed, after several friends raived on how good the food was. Cook Out is for lazy people who can’t go to the grocery store and pick up frozen burgers and store brand buns. This was my first and last visit to Cook out.

I passed by this place so many times and never gave it much thought. I stopped with my MIL and my little one. We all loved the burgers. The chicken nuggets weren’t that great but the milkshakes makes up for it. They have the best milkshakes I have every had. Everyone was pleased!

I love cookout but this one in particular just needs to work on their customer service. Their food is good but I had to wait about 10 minutes at their drive thru window for a BLT and a corn dog. They never told me there would be a wait or apologized for the length of time it took. If they could work on their customer service, I would definitely want to try it again.

Cheap good eats, well as long as they get your order right… Other than a few order mix-ups the food is definitely good for the price. Always check your order before leaving if you go through the drive-thru!

When you are heading home from a late night on the town or having midnight munchies Cookout is the perfect spot to fill your belly. I love that they are open dang near 24 hours during the weekend. The double lines make it easy and fast to get your late night junk food fix. I normally order a big burger with everything. The charbroiled burgers are so good, especially after a night of drinking and dancing. The chili cheese fries are the perfect accessory to the burger. My meal is not complete without ordering one of Cookout’s thick, creamy shakes. There are so many delicious flavors it can be difficult to choose. My favorites are the Snickers Shake and the Strawberry Shake. These concoctions are worth the calories. You will not be disappointed by indulging in one of these dairy creations.

Verily, it is the mighty Cook Out. I’m exceedingly fond of their food and their prices. This place only gets dinged a star because they occasionally muck up the order, which is frustrating. Always tasty, just not always 100% what I ordered. The interior is clean and comfortable, though, so I highly recommend going regardless. Often at three in the morning.

One thing I’ve noticed about CookOuts in general is the food is just okay. It fills a need for cheap and greasy fast food, nothing earth shattering. Love the cheese fries, corn dogs, and hush puppies. The burgers are another thing entirely. This CookOut is a particular offender for not quite getting the burger up to snuff. When my husband and I went here recently, I noticed that my burger looked a little small. I had ordered one of the larger burgers but what they gave me isn’t reminiscent to what I’ve received before when I’ve ordered this same burger be it here or at other CookOuts. Add to the fact that the burger was under seasoned and bacon looked damn-near raw. I think it’s safe to say that I’m finally over CookOut burgers. You’re probably asking yourself why didn’t I send it back? My answer for you is have you seen the movie Waiting? The kids behind that counter didn’t look like they were in the mood for the fat chick to complain that her burger wasn’t big enough and I wasn’t in the mood to have my burger garnished with spit or dust bunnies. I may come back here for the aforementioned cheese fries, corn dogs, and hush puppies, but the burgers? They can have them!

I’m a big dude. Usually takes me a lot of food to get full. That usually costs me a bit of money. Cookout is one of those rare places where for about 10 bucks I’m well fed. Burgers are juicy and delicious. Their onion rings are amazing. They have Cheerwine! Their milkshakes are fantastic, and the whole menu is cheap. I usually pop in there a few times a week, and it never disappoints. Clean restaurant and bathrooms too.

Great place for the family, cheap and OK as far as burgers. But the quesadilla for a side dish was quite good.

Avoid this location. Nine times out of ten they get your order wrong. If you order thru the drive thru make sure you check your order.

I’m here on the usual, but not for the food. I’m hired to deliver it. 12 orders in the past 3 days, and 7 of them were incorrect. –If you order cheesecake, once they give you your food, ask for the ‘slice.’ They WILL have forgotten it. –If you order a huge burger, make sure they used the proper burger patties. They like to sneak ‘Big Doubles’ in as ‘Huge’ burgers. –If you order ANYTHING ‘plain,’ double check it. They like to add extra toppings that you didn’t want.

We’ve been under the weather, actually my wife, so a hamburger sounded good to her, no cheese ever. Me, Cheeseburger, always. So I ran up, stumbled thru the left hand turn in front of the restaurant from the outside right lane… you’ll understand, the short lane/line makes a 90 degree turn in front of the restaurant. As for the food, I’d compare it to Wendy’s, Burger King or a Hardee’s larger sandwich. We don’t do Fries so home it went… my third time there. It has a nice grilled flavor and is fresh. Its also busy. It’s A-OK.

Went to the Midlothian location about a week ago for the very first time and was not impressed. I simply ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a corn dog. The person at the drive thru repeated my order incorrect the first time which I had to correct her as she left out my corn dog. Get to the window, pay for my order and then was handed my food… WITHOUT the corn dog. Urgh. There was no apology for the error whatsoever and I was asked if I wanted to pay $ 1.04 for them to give it to me… I said no thanks and drove off. The workers there need a crash course in customer service. To top it off the food may have been cheap and fast but it surely wasn’t the best food I’ve had. I’m not inclined to go back.

Are you kidding me? This location of CookOut is cutting so many corners, its not even funny. Order a cheese burger and expect cheese on it? Nope! You’re going to get a hamburger patty slathered in Velveeta cheese! Yum! I raised the issue with the manager, and I was told that 100% CookOut does not use real cheese on its burgers. Let me write that again — CookOut does NOTUSEREALCHEESE. Nevermind that the Parham location does use real cheese, but whatever. The service in this restaurant is also a joke. Nobody understands what you say, and the orders coming out of the kitchen are always wrong. Avoid this location!

Good burger for the price compared to other fast food burgers, great shake for the price, rest of the food is pretty average at best. The menu can be bewildering at first and fairly large choice for a fast food place. The price is very reasonable, so if you are hungry and on a budget, this place is great. While it is a chain, it is a bit of change of pace from the likes of Burger Kings and McDonald’s. It stays open late, so if you got the late night munchies, this place is for you.

Great burgers, tasty. I got the«huge», that’s what it is too. Quite. It’s amazing the amount you can fit in a stomach. Decent ingredients, the food will put you in a right food coma, and you’ll be full on food babying for 2 days afterward. Just own it, it’s cool, it’s cook out baby!

I remember this burger place popped out of no where one day. I have driven past this place for months but never decided to eat here. One of my friends told me about this place and how the burgers here are good. I finally decided to get eat here. I got 1 regular burger, 1BBQ sandwich, and fries. The food here didn’t meet the expectation I had. The meat of the burger was pretty good but the bun was average. The fries were a bit salty. All in all… from the food I got was just okay. I’ll probably come back eventually. akatek1
