Comcast Service Center

Avoid Comcast like a plague if you can. They are terrible! Thy would seriously traumatize you with their horrible service. First half the channels didn’t work even though they sent many clueless technicians. Second, they locked me in a 2-​year contract without being aware that it was the case and then wanted me to pay hundreds of dollars when I wanted to move and disconnect the service.

They dont provide receipt or paperworks to prove what you are getting. Rep will lie to you to get your business. Be careful dealing with comcast.

This place is a f**king ripoff. My father signs a new contract and is promised all these channels including some Filipino channels. Even a filipino clerk is explaining all this. At this point there is no Comcast cable signal reaching our Hercules home. What a ripoff. I even tried their Xfinity tv app and it blocks all the channels from viewing. What kind of crappy company is this? I read online that the CEO is some Kazarian making 24 million dollars a year. Yet they can’t spend a dime on reliability. The X1 boxes are junk and internet speed is a snail. And it’s costing my father $ 200+ per month!

Had an escalated service ticket since Sunday. They couldn’t send some out out so they cancelled the account and I have to go back to sales. The worst ever!!!

Xfinity has to be the absolute, I do mean absolute worst cable tv company in the United States. I was in Bestbuy last weekend when an Xfinity sales associate approached me while I purchasing a couple of cellphones. At that time the sales associate (Shay) was very helpful and very attentive to my cable needs and became very interested in knowing how much I was paying for cable and what services that I was being provided through his company (Xfinity). So, I gave him the information to look into my account and from there he made me an offer that I could not refuse. We scheduled an appointment for a week later which was today at 7:30am. Now, he asked me twice was I sure about the time and I explained to him that I am a single parent who works 2 job’s so my time is extremely limited. He understood as he proceeded to lock in my appointment for day/​time in which we both had agreed upon. Yesterday morning a representative from Xfinity called me to confirm my appointment (day/​time), which was the exact day/​time that Shay the sales associate from best buy and I had already confirmed. However, last night I receive a call from their automated system telling me that my appointment had been moved from 7:30am to 10:00am without my knowledge or consent on this. The time is now 11:45am and they have yet to show up or call me. So, now I’m on the phone with one of their Xfinity representatives as well as the sales associate (Shay) and the representative from Xfinity has been nothing but extremely rude and she hung up on the both of us. Keep in mind that I have NEVER EVER been late with paying Xfinity either. I am so looking forward to moving to an area where I know my business with one of their competitors will not only be greatly appreciated but, from one consumer to another I know many other cable companies who thrive on nothing but outstanding customer service. Have you ever tried to reach someone in the good old USA well with this company you cannot reach anyone in the USA you either get the Philippines or Mexico there is a difference in language and social interaction not understanding the issue we are calling about. Seems like they are reading off of a script or something

Comcast on Klose in Richmond is understaffed, @10:30 on a Thursday there is 1 worker and 6 people waiting. Makes me hate the monopoly that is our cable. I guess u can be terrible when you’re the only game in town.

My husband and I are very hesitant to go to any comcast service office, because of their service. However! Daniel was very helpful and the lady greeter (sorry didn’t catch your name) was very friendly and whom seemed to be the manager was informative, with regards to the equipment. Thank you for your help team: D!!! In and out in less than 10mins and happy with the service!!!

Normally I’m very frustrated when dealing with the cable companies. I was feeling that way when I walked into the door of Comcast today. After Zach Strause worked with me, I left a very happy customer.
He was kind, courteous, fast, and more than efficient. Ironically their Internet went down while I was there, but he quickly made sure that I was able to leave and would follow up with me later to make sure I was taken care of. He also got me the best deal possible after listening to what my needs were. I can’t believe I’m actually writing a review for a cable company, but his service was so excellent I had to!

If I could give minus stars I would. I got the new remote and cable box. The new remote is worse and more complicated. Eg no «live» button. The new box lost every f’ing recording I had including such things as Giants World Series victories and Paul Mc Cartny at Red Square. The service was ok but the clerk was strictly business and dull. The only person at the Richmond store who gives a damn is Zach Strauss. Whoever developed the new remote and box needs to go back to kindergarten

I wish i could give this place 0 stars. They are always trying to charge you extra on bills you have alrady paid. They never alert you when they are about to turn off your cable. Also they are slow. I don’t care how good their deals are, they need to step up their game or they will loose customers.

Incompetent staff. Zero sense of urgency. Poor management, lack of customer service.

Go to Redbox instead. I returned all of my equipment to Klose Comcast center a month ago. I started to get calls from their equipment recovery center In a week. I went back up to the Comcast Klose customer center and they confirmed I returned my equipment and would make sure the phone calls would stop. That was 3 weeks ago and I still get phone calls claiming I have Not returned their equipment. I made several attempts by phone– like peeing in the wind… Now another day at their customer center and they claim I did not return a old router. I paid $ 24.04 just too get Comcast off my back and keep my credit good. Total of 10 hours of my time to resolve this. I WILL never do business with them Again. .neither should you. Direct TV for a lot cheaper price or even better get out walk, gym, bike, play sports, enjoy life kill your tv! It is all comericals anymore… the source of ADA– I WANT IT NOW syndrome

Came in to upgrade our service and Zach Strause hooked it up, got us exactly what we needed and wanted

Technicians are friendly do their job but unfortunately for them they work for an over promise and under delivering company called-​Comcast which provides shitty service from the top down. I have to plug my internet into a 110 outlet in and out every time I need internet… this is after they installed my internet and phone in one place not setting my phone lines active for my home alarm. Now my tower is in a different room than my comp — Wasted my time and still are should have gone with Dish or AT&T

They had my girlfriend wait while they flirting with her and i am outside sitting in my car and watching people go in and out. This place is strange and filled with weird folks who weirdly stares at you from top to bottom if you are women and by yourself. Watch out and I am in the process of handling this with comcast headquarters.

Cable service itself is decent enough, don’t recommend doing anything lower than the minimum HD box. especially if you have the new smart TVs because quality sucks on standard cable with a standard box.
There is a phenomenal service rep in the back. Jason (I think. I know his name starts with a «J» and he is the only lively one in the building!) is a wonderful help and a refershingly upbeat human being to deal with especially in regards to something that can be such a pain in the rear.
I had to come back to this location 3x in one day. switching from standard cable box to HD cable box. first set I was given sparked, spit fire and blew the breaker. after further inspection the copper cord was half exposed and seemingly chewed through on one end. thought we were getting a new product, but apparently it was refurbished horribly. So we took that wire back to get it replaced (you would think this would be an easy switch as they have the equipment data in their system). it wasn’t and so they finally handed us what should’ve been the correct cord for the product we were given not even an hour earlier. get it back to the house and it doesn’t even fit. This time we bring everything back and they swap it out completely for a new set of items… I am one of those people that checked in, but refused to wait again after having been to the store 2x already at this point. and I announced exactly what I was doing and why. I was in-​and-​out in 10mts this time. with what ended up being all the correct and working items!
Of course, I got on the phone with Comcast because I had to initiate my new HD service signal now that the box was installed. while I was there I decided to voice my opinion on the matter that occurred today. They offered me one time $ 10 off to which I promptly said I spent more than that in gas going back in forth 3x. so then she offered FREE HBO. which I already have… (very helpful.) so I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, which she did… he rudely cut me off while I was explaining what occured and told me I had 4 options. one time $ 15 off, $ 5 off for 12 months ($ 60), FREE HBO, or FREE HBO since I already have HBO… better than nothing I suppose. but W O W. I’d tell people to choose someone else even if it as a bit more each month just off the crap customer service that Comcast has…
Internet service is supposed to be super fast and amazing and it catches and hiccups almost every time we use it at home. so when we move, we are definitely choosing another carrier, PERIOD. Sorry «J» your amazingly awesome customer service isn’t enough to keep us!

I had an appointment for today from 8 – 10 am. At 11 am I called and the agent told me there were problems in our area and Comcast would be wasting their money if they sent someone out. I asked why no one notified me that the appointment was changed and he said that is what he was doing now. (I called him)
The supervisor and or did not say anything about an outage in my area (mine is working fine right now) but acknowledged someone should have called. I mentioned that 3 weeks ago someone came out for a problem and they were 1 ½ hours late. She said I should have been credited $ 20 for the late arrival. I asked her to credit me for both appointments. She said she could not do that and Billing was not open right now. Really… a supervisor cannot do that for a disgruntled customer? Nice job Comcast

First of all, the representative on the phone sent the wrong box, and we had to pay $ 75 for the a technician to come out and tell us that they had sent the wrong box. Then we had to go to the store to drop off the box, which should only take a minute to do. This store is inefficient. Other stores have separate lines for different services. We shouldn’t have to wait over 15 minutes to return a box.
The next time I move, I will make sure I can get an apartment or house where I can get Direct TV because the the phone representatives are incompetent, and this store is inefficient.

There was a time when it bothered me to have to check in, and be called to the counter. Now it doesn’t, because people to seem to walk in and push to the front of the line.
As for cable service: I have not complaints.
