Stop looking elsewhere and EATHERE! I was with 4 family members and the plan was to eat around Carytown. Fortunately for us(even though it seemed unfortunate at the time), the power went out in the entire area, so we went looking for nearby restaurants. After two failed attempts at other places(long wait times), we stumbled upon this place, and it was more perfect than anything we could have hoped for. As we were thinking about what to get, the lady who was cleaning suggested we order the Plato Grande for the 5 of us. It says it serves 4, but she said we would have leftovers. We trusted her and ordered it with the coleslaw and Yuca. The thing includes ribs, beef strips, roasted chicken, rice and beans, plus a choice between coleslaw or green salad, and a choice between yuca, fries and nacho chips. The food was ready pretty fast(I know cause I was hungry and felt like dying but that feeeling didn’t last long), and EVERYTHING was good. Those Yuca fries. That tender rib meat. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The rice could be eaten by itself. I’m still savoring it. We all ate probably too much and still had leftover chicken, rice, beans and cole slaw. Definitely recommend this playe even for 6 or 7 people.

No doubt the food is very good. Ours was tasty as well, it was just the wrong food! Our bad for rushing out the door with a to go order without checking. Many people who ordered AFTER us, but ordered in, got their food 5 min before us. We waited ten minutes on our order and then we got a chicken salad instead of steak tacos. Nowhere close. Didn’t have time to come back. Just need to tighten up service.

My first time eating at chicken fiesta and had a wonderful experience. I got the quarter chicken and ribs with yucca and rice. It was all very tasty! And I just have to comment that all of the staff there were all so friendly and helpful. I had never had Yucca so they let me taste a sample. And they gave me a supply of their three different sauces. I will go back. And I will be curious to see if the staff and other restaurants are just as friendly as the ones at this location.

Best combo for Peruvian chicken at a reasonable price. I usually get the quarter chicken and ribs combo with rice and yucca. Their ribs fall off the bone and are delicious. Their chicken is a bit dry but if you dunk it with the green and white sauce then it’s good. Their yucca is the best I’ve ever had! Not dry at all, which is what I’m used to.

Upon walking in, you’re instantly greeted with smiling faces and offering samples, if it’s your first time. Since it was our first time,(went with the roomies) they offered us to try horchata which is a spanish drink that tastes similiar to coconut rice water. Best coconut rice water I’ve ever had so, hey i was a fan! We ordered ribs, chicken, steak, yukas and rice(we’re always hungry, haha) Chicken: moist but i prefer dark meat over white since i find it more succulent but char was nice.(I should have asked for dark meat) Steak: roomie said it was flavorful and had a good quality Ribs: OHOURFAVORITE! It was so moist, fell off the bone and had nice seasoning on the exterior of it. I honestly would go back and get a ton of ribs, if only life would permit. Their rice is standard yellow spanish rice while the yukas were the star of the show! My favorite yukas I’ve ever tried. They are fried to utter perfection. My only complaint is that they only give 4 pieces per order, and since im a fan, i wish they gave more! I go to heaven and back everytime I dip my yukas in the yellow sauce… seriously, it’s that good.

Chicken fiesta is the greatest lunch spot you could ever dream of. Whether you’re in a rush or want to sit down. This is your place. The food is constantly delicious and doesn’t leave you feeling groggy. You really can’t find food this good for this quick anywhere else. Customer service is always top notch and the space is always very clean. At lunch time you’ll find a lot of people there, but don’t be turned off, you will still get your food quickly! Try the Yucca fries and rotisserie chicken. So good!!! Also eating local is a plus!

Chicken Fiesta! Wow, what an awesome place. Their rotisserie chicken truly makes for a party in your mouth every time, super tasty spices cooked right into the bird. The staff is extremely nice, and the food is prepared very quickly– you get your chicken hot off the rotating rack. The sides are wonderful as well. Yuca is crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Rice is on point, and the salad dressing is so good I mix it with the yellow and green sauce to make a concoction for dipping my chicken. The price is fairly inexpensive too, making my wallet happy as well. I am so glad the Fan finally got a Chicken Fiesta!

$ 22 for a super satisfying meal of 2 people. We got half a rotisserie chicken and an order of ribs — both entrees came with 2 sides and we got 1 soft drink to share(it was self refillable, but we didn’t abuse the system). The rotisserie chicken was roasted in plain view and the meat was fall off the bone delicious. The breast I am never a fan of but my fiancé said it was good and he had the pleasure of eating it all. My thigh and drumstick was amazzzzzeballs~ the spicy green sauce is so good. There was also non-spicy cream based sauce. The chicken did seem a bit on the smaller side — maybe it’s the normal sized chicken. I am just used to see costco’s ginormous roasted chickens. The ribs meal came in 3 large ribs — very meaty, moist, just enough amount of bbq sauce(I prefer less sauce) and was cooked perfectly. Though, i think the chicken is still the star and I would get more of the chicken and maybe try the steak next time i am in town. We got 4 sides: rice, tortillas, yuca and cole slaw. We made tacos with the tortillas and filled it with rice and meat and cole slaw and it was delish! There were only 4 chunky yuca fries — wish there was more, but regardless of quantity, it was crispy on the outside and soft/moist on the inside. Just the perfect texture. Food was really good and plentiful. fast food setting but comfortable seating and fast service. Most importantly, open on Easter Sunday!

I love their chicken and carne asada but the best part of chicken fiesta is their tres leches cake. It’s seriously amazing!

Consistently delicious and moist rotisserie chicken and awesome yucca fries! Their fried plantains are also good and are served with a dollop of sour cream — which may sound gross but actually works! Chicken Fiesta is always a solid spot for a quick meal!

Super delicious food! Best rotisserie chicken that I’ve had in a long time. For $ 12, I got a combo with ¼ chicken, 6 oz steak, and a side of black beans and yucca. The steak was alright, but the chicken is definitely the main draw, which Chicken Fiesta does well. Lots of incredible flavor. The yucca sticks were large, crispy, and delicious, all what I look for in fried yucca sticks. The meal was very filling and I was able to take leftovers home, but next time, I’ll just stick to a chicken meal and not a combo. Definitely my new go-to for rotisserie chicken. Very affordable and convenient, I’ve been recommending this place to my friends looking for new cheap places to eat!

I have tried Peruvian chicken from Harrisonburg and Northern VA and I really enjoy the Peruvian chicken here. I usually get the quarter chicken with yucca and rice. Absolutely delicious and filling portions! I just wish they weren’t so stingy with their sauces. I also tried their ribs with beans and rice and it kept my stomach happy. The meat was a little dry, but I licked my plate clean.

This is a Mexican chic-fil-a in terms of experience for me Very clean Fine lady at register was very professional and helped me choose. She said«sir» Price reasonable. Food was HOT. I got the fiesta salad with chicken and a side chicken soft taco Pico and sour cream was very tasty; homemade. Tortilla was homestyle — juice poured out of the taco — that’s a must. Chicken was tender and just the right portions. This was a soft taco like it should be — simple clean and light. Attention was drawn to chicken flavor and sour cream. Salad was good size but not too big. Hefty portion of selected pulled roasted chicken. It was delicious. I emptied the entire single tablespoon of «hot green sauce» into the salad. Tortilla chips fresh greens. Delicious. During my meal an employee was cleaning the area of debris. One lady asked us how we were. Another stopped by and ask if our food was ok. Another came by and cleared our trays. Amazing service with no tips. I love this place. If you like Tex Mex and want a quick bite for low price this is your stop. Eat here.

Chicken Fiesta is one of my go to places if I want fast food and it’s cheap. This is their newer location in the Fan on Broad St and very accessible for the VCU students by car or by bike. Came here for a pre-game meal and I got my usual dark meat quarter chicken with a double order of Yucca Fries. The rotisserie chicken is always spinning on those huge roasters they have towards the front so you can see them cooking and are freshly cut right away after they come off those hot coals. I echo the same statement as fellow Unilocaler Thuy V. that the chicken wasn’t as moist as I recall; one of the main reasons why I get dark meat is because it is generally juicier. The chicken itself was flavorful and the skin is always the best part for me. I always get the yucca and everyone knows what it is by now. One of my teammates has never had one before and they are always nice to offer you one to sample before committing. You also need to get the extra yellow sauce they have as well as it’s a great dipping sauce for the chicken and Yucca. This location was clean and a little bigger than the two other locations in Richmond. Quick and friendly service and you can’t beat a full meal and a drink for less than $ 9 bucks.

Two words, YUCAFRIES It doesn’t matter what you order… you HAVETO get the yuca fries… if not a double order. They are so crispy on the outside yet still fluffy on the inside. I ordered the chicken and steak and honestly it’s nothing special. I was actually expecting a more Peruvian chicken feel but the flavors are more of your standard rotisserie chicken. For the price and the amount of food you get, this place is a great deal. They’re super fast so it’s perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Solid Peruvian chicken. For just over 6 bucks you get ¼ chicken with two sides of choice(choose from rice, beans, fries, yuca fries, salad or cole slaw). The skin was crunchy and seasoned deliciously but the meat wasn’t as juicy as some of the other places. However the yuca fries was one of the best I’ve had! It was crispy on the outside yet soft inside and not fibrous or drying at all. Chicken Fiesta’s portions aren’t tiny, but definitely not as big as most other Peruvian chicken places. I mean, as delicious as they were, I’ve never had any store give me 4 pieces of yuca fries before :( Staff is quick and friendly and there is plenty of private parking lot. I can tell this is going to be one of my new to-go places!
