California Smog opened its doors to the Richmond community back in 2001. The shop originally opened and began just down the street at 401 23^rd st. When the owner Mike was looking into the future for the smog industry he realized that while working for his previous employer was great, he felt he has so much more to offer his customers in business and customer service. He had a heart for richmond because he felt that many shops lacked the integrity that most people would want to see when having a shop work on their vehicle. He decided to make a bold move and opened up CA SMOG. With now well over a decade in business he takes pride in his reputation in the community as one of the shops that provides the most excellent, high quality experienced care for the customers in the Richmond community and beyond. Mike has been working in the industry for nearly 20 years. He began his business back in 2000. He has a lot of experience in the industry and he couples it with his integrity to do right by people and God. He has been esteemed in many Communities as a Man of Great Integrity and Character.
