Art Works is an art center ½ mile from downtown Richmond VA. We have 75 artist studios and 5 galleries. Open 6 days a week (Tuesday-​Sunday), come browse and see and buy art. Noon — 6 p.m.

We host weddings, parties, meetings and seminars in the gallery.

If you are an artist, you can rent a studio, wall and submit your artwork to our monthly All Media Shows. Then on the 4^th Friday of each month we have a big party — opening reception for all the new exhibits in the 5 galleries. It’s free and open to the public. Meet international, national and local artists. See art of ALL kinds. It’s a wonderful place.

History

Established in 2003.

We opened in 2003 providing studio space for artists. We renovated warehouse space in this historic building in Manchester RVA and now host shows from artists all over the world and nation.

Then we began hosting weddings, wedding receptions, parties, seminars and meetings.

We expanded and host Fun Day Activities for organizations and companies that want to have team building for their employees.

Art Works is a wonderful center of activity in Manchester.

I have programmed computers and been an analyst as well as a banker, so all these skills I use at Art Works. I love a party, so 4^th Friday receptions at Art Works is perfect for me — a party every month… except December that is. »
