Andy’s CAFE was on the way home, Richmond VA(which is a confusing labyrinth). The Unilocal review was not very defined. The Café is a misnomer as this is a BAR atmosphere. The gentleman who waited on us was defiantly the bartender. We arrived at 2:30PM, the place was basically empty, the cook was eating her lunch at a table and the Gentlemen was behind the bar. We were asked to have a seat where ever we choose. Husband and I told the Gentlemen that we found them on Unilocal,he had no clue what I was talking about. We ordered the fish special and a cold salad plate. The fish was very good, freshly fried and tender, the cold plate was«normal fair» chicken salad was a little on the tough side. The tea was unsweet only — but was freshly brewed and tasty. The bathrooms were clean’ish, but not pretty! I would go back to this Bar/café with having a drink in mind as well as a nosh. The gentleman /Bartender shared his personal stash of a homemade cookie with us as they were out of «desserts». The cookie was the highlight of the meal.
