We pride ourselves in our strong relationships with the media and land our clients coverage in hundreds of popular TV, radio, print and online outlets. We also offer press release writing services for small businesses and authors as well as pr consulting on an hourly basis.
History
Established in 2000.
For over twenty years I have been practicing public relations, advertising, and marketing. In October 2001, I launched my own PR and marketing firm, Andrea Burnett Public Relations.
In 2003, I took a five-year hiatus from consulting to serve as the Director of Publicity at Chronicle Books, an award-winning publisher of illustrated books and gifts in San Francisco. Before that, I held the position of Director of Public Relations & Events at IDG Books Worldwide, Inc. IDGB’s best-selling brands include For Dummies®, Cliffs Notes®, Frommer’s®, Betty Crocker’s®, Weight Watchers®, Webster’s New World® and JK Lasser®.
Since re-launching ABPR in November 2007, I have built a portfolio of lifestyle clients ranging from food to parenting to fashion to travel. We take great pride in maximizing the visibility of our clients’ book and brands and we love working collaboratively with publishers and small businesses.

Andrea Burnett has been a lifestyle and book publicist for over 20 years. She specializes in parenting, children’s, food and nutrition, eco/green living, health & wellness and women’s general interest publicity. She’s proud to have spearheaded campaigns and product launches for some of the top brands in the U.S. Andrea understands how to work collaboratively with her clients and how to partner with like-minded companies to maximize the visibility of her clients and their projects. She is the former head of Publicity at Chronicle Books and has run ABPR for the last 4 years. Andrea has relationships with editors at some of the top magazines and online publications in the US including The New York Times, Newsweek, Huffington Post, About.com, Publisher’s Weekly, Shelf Awareness, Daily Beast, Cosmo, Woman’s World, Ladies Home Journal, Real Simple and many, many more.
