Our martial arts after-school care program and summer camp is a great alternative for childcare. We pick up from most west end public and private schools in Henrico County. Give us a call to see if we pick up from your child’s school. Our list grows each month!

After-School Care, Summer camps and child care, self-defense classes for kids and adults. We use karate, judo, jiu-jitsu, aikido and others. Our motto is if it works, we use it.

In keeping in step with our family like atmosphere approach, we are proud to have a 1:8 teacher to student ratio. As a result, our activities are highly structured, systematic, and organized to meet the needs of all students. There is not much time for «free play.» Our after school program starts from 2:10 — 6:00 Monday — Friday. We teach our students self control, discipline, and respect. It is our goal that your child will transfer the skills mastered in our after school program to home and within the community. ACK’s family like atmosphere represents the investment we have in your child while in our care.

Even if you think you and your child are satisfied with your current after school program, try ours and see the difference. We promise they will not want to leave. Many of them continue through high school and college.

«Karate has been an important part of my life. We live in an uncertain world and you never know what may come your way in life. Knowing how to defend myself has saved my life on at least two occasions. I want to pass this training on, and help others learn respect, discipline, and self-control.
