ZERO STARS. NOT RECOMMENDED. Absolutely the worst customer service. Person taking delivery orders made an error. When I corrected him, he told me «DON’T ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN» and hung up the phone.

Food is alright, the low stars is for the horrible delivery time/​customer service.
Order was placed at 7:42, and did not arrive till 9:35. I called twice to check and just got the generic «oh it’s on the way» response, with no apology. I called again 30 minutes later to find out why it’s taking so long, and got «the driver has 3 more deliveries and yours is one of them», and the lady hangs up. Please do not give me an estimated wait time of 75 minutes when you can’t meet that. Disappointing.

I placed an order for delivery through GrubHub. The food never came after 1 hour 50 minutes. I called the restaurant and spoke with Raj. He told me multiple different reasons as to why my food hasn’t arrived. First he stated it was already delivered and then some how it became a fax error and they never received my order. I asked for a refund and they told me I had to call Grub Hub and explained that it was an error on GH’s part. GH representative later told me that it was the restaurant that sent me both delivery notifications and a confirmation email. I can understand mistakes are made, but lying to your customers and blaming another party are not the ways to address those mistakes.

Delicious food and excellent service. seafood biryani, chicken Mughlai and fish kabab was awesome. Will come back again with family.

Personally, I would skip it. I would give it one star, but the water and Garlic Naan was really good.

Good food and attentive service ! This has become almost a family tradition on the weekends, my mom is very picky on Indian food and she’s always eager for lunch here ! The goat curry with naan is my favorite !!! Will definitely keep coming back !

Horrible customer service. Worse food. My entire home got food poisoning from eating here. If I could give zero stars, I would. When I called the restaurant about it, they tried to make me feel like I was the crazy one, not even the slightest bit of courtesy. Huge disappointment as this was our first time eating from there.

We dine in last night there. Food portion is small but tastes good with reasonable price. Décor is nice too. service is quick but not friendly

Horrible … Horrible… .Horrible… Just moved into forest hills. Ordered food at 3:24pm with an estimated delivery time of 4:40, which is longer than what we are used to in Manhattan, but that is fine. Ended up getting the food at 5:35pm.
No call, no apology or anything of that sort. We would have been long term customers, but not with this kind of attitude. WIll never order from this place ever again.
One star — is for the quality of the food which is good

Very good service and great food!
Whenever we go, they always remember what we like and the workers are very friendly. The food is amazing and they always give candies to the kids. You should come here with the fam!

We just waited nearly two hours for our food on delivery. They kept telling us it would be very soon and it was 1 hour and 45 mins. The mango lassi doesn’t taste like mango. The rest of the food was ok — but I am completely unimpressed with the customer service and delivery efforts.

This place HAD good food then they got too big and the food just went down. I had had some really good punjabi food here for years. I wish it was still good. But then, all progress is not upwards. Still tolerable if you are hungry. Better than most in the area.

Ordered delivery, was confirmed with 90 minute delivery time. After 2 hours and fifteen minutes wait, I called to check on status and was told driver would be here soon. Forty minutes later I called again, and was told it would be another thirty minutes. This seems to be an ongoing problem for the restaurant; they should consider their delivery range and abilities before accepting orders they can’t possibly fulfill.

Perhaps this review has been postponed as my writing skills waver, post gorging. Three plates of food consumption always leads to placing my pen upon my pad, a pop of the pants top button and assuming the Al Bundy couch position. Today I will persevere.
The lunch buffet special changes on a daily basis, typically Tandoori Chicken and Tiki Masala make a biweekly appearance. Goat dishes play the role of wild card and are greedily gobbled up once the handwritten place card is positioned.
During the lunching hours, foot traffic is minimal atop the black tiles and the linens remain China white, free from the sloppy ladle play.
Sitting with my book, or a newspaper peering down upon my table of freshly baked Nan, my personal polished steel water pitcher and my heaping dish of perfectly prepared Indian cuisine. Yes, I feel very comfortable inside, that’s why I continue my patronage and why its my preferred of the masses.

I live in forest hills. I order for grub hub at 7:30 one evening, 10:00 pm roles around and my food still had yet to be ordered. I call them expecting empathy and a prompt refund and I am instead told wait 15 more minutes for my food and that is my only option. Thank goodness the order was through grubhub or I might have had to eat cold food. Terrible terrible terrible service.

My husband had spent the weekend working so we decided to treat ourselves to some take out. We wanted to try something new and stumbled upon this place through GrubHub.
HUGE MISTAKE! We placed the order at 5:52pm, with an expected delivery time of 7:05pm-7:15pm. At 7:35pm, we called to check on the order and the hostess who answered the call rudely stated all orders had left and the delivery man had 3 – 4 stops. By 8pm, our order still had not arrived and I called again, she said the same thing but offered to get an ETA but hung up on me instead. The food arrived at 8:05, 2 hours and 15 min after I placed the order and was freezing cold – no apology or explanation from the delivery man.
The pakoras were dry and tasted of old oil, the naan was chewy and flavorless and we only received one side of rice for two entrees. The only decent item was the kheer, which is the best I’ve had in Queens – but I like eating that cold.
Put a sour note on our whole evening.

I LOVE this place. I’ve never eaten there, but Punjabi Kabab House is my «go-​to» place for delivery. Every single item I’ve ordered off the menu was absolutely delicious. There are not many vegetarian options for delivery out in Glendale, and I am so grateful Punjabi Kabab House comes out here! Great quality food at affordable prices, and the delivery people are all very nice.

I am a fan of Indian food, so I found this place on Unilocal.After reading some reviews I decided to bring my family there for dinner.
The décor and outside is not the best, but at least it is clean. We saw a lot natives; that is a good sign.
We got the menu. It was cold there, so we asked for tea. The waitress brought tea with milk, looking like coffee: it was big surprise for us, we were expecting regular tea. The Waitress Never Explain What Kind Tea she is going to bring. We also order chicken, lamb, and chicken tandoori. The food was great, not too spicy. The Roti and Nan with onion were delicious. The only problem everything you have to order separately: like rice, salads or vegetables. but overall not bad
I would like to try them for lunch buffet also. My overall rating is 3.7. I would recommend this place

Got the fish tikka, chicken soup, and sarson ka saag (pureed spinach) delivered and everything looked and tasted great. No complaints from this foodie! Hopefully the next experience is as satisfying as this.

Was a little lost but finally found it on google maps. Sooo I expected a larger more crowded pace but it was small and clean. Being the only patron I was able to choose a small back table and enjoy the sights outside.
Food was good. Not as spicy as I like but still good and very tasty.
Not sure if I will be back but it’s a nice place to visit at least once.
