Today I bring you… my 500^th review.
I could think of no one more worthy of my semi-​thousandth post than Chandie Hupman and Chelsea Russell, of Keller Williams Reality; the women who saved me from the seemingly endless agony of home ownership; the relentlessly kind and generous gals who managed all of my real estate chores from across the country, held my hand through it all, kept in constant contact, and made it possible for me to sell my still-​furnished prior home in Savannah without having to leave my busy life in California. Incredible.
But here’s the reality of it folks: it took 10 months to sell my house. That’s not the fault of any realtor, that’s the fault of our pathetic economy and housing marking bubble burst. I wanted to foreclose, take the easy way out, but Chandie urged me, selflessly, to try for a short sale. She assured me that she had an colleague who was a short sale expert (Chelsea Russel, another gem) and the two of them would take care of everything.
