Little Owl’s Academy is a family oriented facility. Parents choose our facility because they want to keep their children in a home-​like environment. They prefer to relate to a single caregiver and believe that children are healthier, happier, and more secure in smaller groups.

Academically, we are structured around a high scope curriculum. This style of curriculum has a strong focus on the child and the teacher interacting on the child’s level. The skills being taught at this early age are essential to building a solid academic foundation; learning will be done at your child’s pace and special accommodations will be made to ensure that your child grasps all of the concepts and skills being taught. Since group size is very small your child will have constant adult interaction, supervision, and one-​on-​one attention.

History

Established in 2013.

In the past I have had a very hard time finding childcare that I could feel confident in and have passed up a few teaching opportunities because of this. I knew that I could not possibly be alone in feeling this way and this is why I decided to offer childcare/​preschool services to others. This is not a job in my mind, it is a passion. I love to teach and it is my aspiration to provide families like yours with a safe, warm, and inviting environment that you can feel excited about bringing your child to each and every day.
