Delicious Phở. Our new favorite spot in all the tri-cities. Great service and very clean. Perfect when you are craving big city Phở. Iced coffee was yummy too!

Great range of spice. No 3 is a great medium. Delicious papaya salad. Had the yellow curry with tofu and it was great. Very reasonable prices and quick, friendly service. Would definitely stop in again.

Best phở in Tri-Cities yet! I have been desperately on the search for good phở every since I moved from LA to Tri-Cities, and I think I have found my go-to spot. The restaurant is small and clean, with simple decoration and a friendly staff. I had the Tofu and Vegetable Phở and it was perfect. The broth was not too salty(as badly made phở broth usually seems to be) and the veggies were fresh and crisp. My soup stayed HOT for quite some time and that just added another level to the quality and care to the food they serve. I am looking forward to many more trips back. Additionally, one of the things that I appreciated was that the waitress(not sure if it was the owner) pronounced the name of the soup correctly. One of the road dumps I have found in the Tri-Cities and other places that ethic restaurant’s face is the«Americanization» of their food; there is this need to dumb down their rich culture and the pronunciation of their own dishes so that they can make things familiar to their primary customer base. I loved that this was not the case here from one simple expression. So #thankyou!

This is my new favorite place to eat! The phở is amazing and so are he butterflies. The staff are very friendly and the prices extremely fair. They also have the best sticky rice I’ve ever eaten. I can’t say enough good things about this place, other than the fact that I am addicted

In town for work for three days and luckily I found this place on day one. Went all three days, got different dishes each time, all with the same excellent quality and good value. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever found while on the road.

The phở tasted very good. My advice is that you need to have more meat in the phở… then it would be 5 star.

I have enjoyed the Lao Kitchen since it opened back in June of 2015. I travel and live in Richland, Seattle and South East Asia. I know and enjoy Great food. And this food is wonderful. I have met many friendly people here. From all walks of life and of a multitude of nationalities. For me the Thai coffee(Vietnamese-French style) is a bit sweet. Of course the food is spot on and the staff and service is most excellent. Even the cook peeks to see who is enjoying her food. May try to get Banh Xeo on the menu. Every time I bring a guest to dine … We notice a great deal of Take Out walking out the door. The food, people and staff are all wonderful. Love several of the dishes. Will continue to return often. Hope to meet you there.

Simply some of the best phở I have had not just in the Tri-Cities, but anywhere. Very consistent. It’s great every time we have gone. Highly recommended.

The spring rolls were wrapped nice and tight. I prefer the peanut sauce from Thai elephant. The phở was bland and watery. Service was great though.

Small little hole in the wall, with really good food. Staff was really nice, Phở was super yummy!!! Can’t wait to work our way through the rest of the menu!

I don’t really know Lao cuisine but some of what I saw in the menu were actually northeastern Thai dishes. Papaya Salad is a must. They use fermented fresh water fish sauce as part of the ingredient which some people might find the smell intimidating, but that’s how it’s supposed to be done. Larb pork was amazing too. I suggest you get sticky rice instead of steam rice with these dishes to have more authentic experience =) Be Careful about the spicy level there! At most places I have to order beyond 5 stars to get the heat but three stars was my limit at Lao kitchen. If you’re not sure I suggest you start off low. You can always add heat but you can’t take it out.

We ordered spring rolls, the laab and the tofu and veggie phở. The spring rolls were good: tightly wrapped with a good amount of filling. I would like to note they appeared to have regular iceberg lettuce which tastes kind of bland. However, the peanut sauce they came with was pretty tasty. We ordered sticky rice with the laab but it also can come with plain white rice. The dish was delicious, he wished he had ordered two. The only qualm was that there were still a few tiny bones left in the pork which prevented him from inhaling the dish. The tofu and veggie phở is by FAR the best phở I’ve had within 200 miles of the Tricities. Coming from the phở-rich city of Seattle I have struggled to find a restaurant to fill my phở cravings: this is it. The broth was full of flavor and in no way water or bland like some places’ vegetarian answer to beef bone soup. The veggies tasted fresh and the noodles were just right. As is traditional with phở they give you very generous portions for the price(about $ 8): you can make 2 to 3 meals out of it. Beyond the food, the service was also fantastic. The waitress was very friendly and accommodation. She was attentive to all the diners and even greeted a regular by name and order. We were also attended to by who I believe is the owner??? He was also very friendly and accommodating when we asked about banh mi. He seems to really care about the quality of the food he serves. I also noticed a tiny Asian grandmother back in the kitchen which is a good sign by itself that this place is legit. We will definitely come back here to get our phở fix and try the rest of the menu.

I’ve been 3 times and I absolutely love it! We have ordered around 8 different items and they are all very fresh, very flavorful.(Salad rolls, laab, phở, lettuce wraps, chicken curry, pad Thai, Thai iced tea, and bubble tea.) Prices are quite reasonable and the staff is always friendly.

Great family owned restaurant, with one hostess who can easily manage the floor by herself when it’s busy. The spring rolls were so big and delicious, I had a hard time eating my main course which was also delicious. My smokin hot wife got the curry and got a 3⁄5 for spice. When I tasted it, it wasn’t melting my face off and it wasn’t Tri Cities mild. It was exactly what it needed to be. I’m super pumped about this delicious new restaurant and I’m stoked to go back!

Simple, charming, delicious, and affordable. This place is easily missed from the road but once you know about this little gem it sticks out like a beacon. The food is wonderful and prepared by a very cute and hospitable wife/husband combination who make you feel like a part of their family without any pretension. Daily specials make the affordable even cheaper and at slow moments(go early) the duo will often have guests sample possible new additions to their menu at no extra charge. Recommended. Insert amazing Phở puns here.

so I was thinking, oh lord another thai restaurant, how could ti-cities manage to support another one, granted i love thai food and probably have it twice a week haha. There is also 6 asian style restaurants in the uptown now, holy cow! Can we get a chinatown sign already? Nonetheless, i intentionally tried a lot of options to see how it compared to other restaurants. I have tried the beef phở, laab, pad thai, papaya salad with sticky rice, spring rolls, garlic chicken. Everything has a great flavor and nice presentation. Pad thai has a great flavor, better than most places, just a little moist on the noodles. The phở was pretty good, but probably not as good as some quality vietnamese places I have been to. I really like it overall though and have been 4 or 5 times and brought different people each time, they are all fans now!

As I walk into the establishment, I was immediately greeted by the cheerful worker. While scrolling thru the limited menu, I find varieties of authentic Laotian and Thai dishes ranging from Chicken Larb, papaya salad to phad Thai. My lunch consisted of the chicken phad thai which was very flavorful and the noodles were cooked to perfection. It comes with the sprinkles of crushed peanuts and a slice of lime with a sprig of cilantro on top. Great presentation for a to-go order. I also ordered the crème cheese and crab stuffed wontons which was good, however for $ 4.95 for the 4 pcs order I thought I wasn’t getting my worth for the amount I spent on that appetizer. I also ordered the Thai Tea Boba which really disappointed me with the flavor and consistency I’ve been accustomed to from other restaurants that serve Boba. Overall the décor and ambiance is really nice and well decorated. The touch of music from their great selections on Spotify really sets the mood just right for dinners. I will return here whenever I’m in the area and need a quick fix, but if I want better bang for your buck, I highly recommend driving up to Kindra’s Wok N Roll located on 9th avenue in Richland.
