This place is across the street from my new job. I’ve been here twice. Once for a turkey hoagie and for a Asian Chicken Salad. The review is for the chicken salad. I called ahead and was told 8 minutes. It was ready when I arrived. The salad is $ 8 something for an entrée salad. I get back to eat at my desk. It contained romaine lettuce, Mandarin oranges, pea pods, wonton strips and get this … Sliced chicken lunch meat! What the hell!!! The picture on the menu shows grilled chicken strips. I only ate half and brought it home where my son scarfed it down. Sliced lunch meat? This isn’t Subway. You could even nuke the Chicken strips you find in the freezer at Cub. Next time I will stick to Hoagies only. So half assed! I live by the Burnsville Davani’s and have tasted the pizza. Meh. I felt fleeced at $ 8 for a salad with sliced deli lunch meat. Buyer Beware!

Been coming here on and off for the better part of a decade and the hoagies and pizza have always been hot, fresh and tasty. Hoagie wise I’m partial to The Club… turkey, pepperoni, Canadian bacon with mozzarella, served toasted. Pizza is thin crust with the white sauce(olive oil and garlic) with sausage, mushrooms and chicken. Service is friendly and low key. They do deliver but I’m out of the delivery area. The ciabatta garlic cheese toast rocks too! There are a few other locations spread through out the metro area too.

Leaving now because we were told 30 minutes and it has been 50 minutes. Checked and they said it’s not even close to being done. Seriously? Get your act together.

Maybe the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Sorry Davanni’s. I’m new to the area and grew up in Chicago on thin crust pizza so I realize my bar may be set kinda high. Drove by this place a bunch of times since moving here a few months back … stopped in tonight with my boys to try it. Literally some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had … tasted A LOT like frozen pizza. Unfortunately it was after I ordered and paid before I saw what looked like pre made crusts in bags in the kitchen. I hate to say it but … Pizza Hut or Dominos is significantly better. Better«non chain» options like Lake Harriet pizza or Michelangelo’s are just a few miles up the road.

Really, really good pizza. This is on-par with some pizza I’ve had in Chicago and definitely as good or better than place in Northwest Arkansas. Slightly expensive though the cool soda machine atones for that. Good ambiance. Good for larger groups.

I’ve been coming to this Davanni’s off and on for the last couple months. I recently got a job in the area and started coming a few times a week for lunch. I have to say, I LOVE it here! The staff is beyond friendly, and the TBC sandwich has been to die for. It makes my day when I walk in the door and whoever is at the register knows my name and order :)

Was new to town and needed a good local pizza joint. I live right by a Domino’s but tend to stray from chain pizza(although it’s OK in a pinch). Davanni’s Pizza has been consistently good. Wife says it’s the cheese that makes it so good. The dough can be a bit… well… doughy… but overall it’s good. I think we’re going to audition the thin crust option next go-round to see if that makes a difference. Wife absolutely LOVES their salads(Spinach/Chicken, in particular). Thank you, Davanni’s!

The pizza, cheesy bread, lasagna, etc., are all really good at Davanni’s. That’s a given. But that’s not going to be the focus of this particular review. I like this location. It’s spacious, the staff are friendly, and they’ve got this cool digital Coke machine where you can choose from like 100 different soda options. Great place to sit down and have a nice casual dinner. Unless, like me, you unwittingly choose to arrive at about 6:00 on a weeknight. Last Wednesday we walked through the door during the dinner rush, and were greeted by a cacophony of shrieks, coming from a horde of tiny humans that had apparently overtaken the restaurant. It didn’t look like there was a birthday party or anything… just that this was the appointed time for harried parents to bring their unruly broods out into the light of day. I love children, but not when they gather in large packs. The chaos created by diminutive persons as they race from one end of the restaurant to another is not conducive to a relaxing dining experience. And that great soda machine? Impossible to access, because little Aiden, Dylan, and Hayley are monopolizing the thing with their ponderous beverage decisions. Davanni’s in Richfield is, in general, not a bad choice for a quiet, adult meal. But that’s only if you go when the local urchins are still in school, or already nestled in their wee little beds. Or, you know… get takeout.

I love the new location and the soda machine. The pizza has slipped quite a bit. It was so much better then. This was Mr. Steak originally — my first job.

The move from down the block helped this place out. More spacious inside and better parking. Food is the same, pizza, hoagies, etc. Better end of chain pizza joints. I’ve found the staff to be pretty lethargic and unhelpful, but the pizza is good. One of the few Davanni’s that doesn’t serve beer, be forewarned if you came thirsty.
