It’s a Dairy Queen/Orange Julius. I haven’t tried much there other than a couple of Orange Juliuses and far too many Blizzards but they’ve always been super quick and friendly. The only real downsides are that they’re not open year-round and there’s no indoor seating. But I hardly ever eat DQ in the winter anyway.

NOTE: This is the location by «The Hub» and Nicollet Ave — NOT the Grill & Chill further west near Edina. This is one of the best DQs in town. They accommodate special requests and the ice cream is top quality — good texture & flavor. Some other DQ’s icecream is lumpy sour icemilk, but the Hub’s is always sweet and rich. Plus they’re now open most of the winter. :-) Thanks Hub DQ!

It is DQ. Need I say much else. I have never gotten bad service here. My soft serve was as soft as ever(unless I got the hard chocolate coating). You can only sit outside, but this is not a problem when it is 80. Just a short bike ride away… yeah, I’ll be back. Why not?

I ordered an ice cream cake for my son’s birthday … 2 days in advance … I was told it would definitely be ready because you only need 24 hours’ notice … and yet, you still didn’t have it ready when I went to pick it up!!! You said that it would be ready in «a few minutes,» but It was more like 15 minutes. Even then, I didn’t get the cake that I ordered. Gee, thanks for the crappy service.
