I used the online store to order a dress on Friday evening. I received the dress by Monday morning! Speedy shipping and a beautiful quality dress! Will definitely be shopping here again for my maternity wardrobe!

I’m pleased to report that Dan was kind enough to allow me to exchange my item for store credit and was very apologetic for the poor experience I had here. I do think that B to B is an amazing affordable resource for maternity and I’ve almost always had a good experience here with some really great deals.

This place saved my pregnant life!
Everyone kept telling me how lucky I was to be pregnant in winter because I won’t be so hot and miserable. Well, my belly got huge and I hate wearing pants even without growing a human inside my torso so wearing clothes was worse than being sweaty!
A friend referred me to this place but it’s pretty far from me. One day I had a meeting in the area so I checked it out. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the outside… it was dark out and the surrounding area seemed a bit bleak. Inside, however, provided a large selection of used clothing at great prices! (Finally! My previous searches in the Twin Cities came up unsuccessful.)
I glanced at the large rack of pants when I realized again that I hate pants. Next, I searched the dresses. It was a bit difficult to try things on in the dressing room but I was getting fairly uncomfortable in general. I walked out of that place with two dresses that I could easily wear without looking like I was sporting a muumuu.
The checkout guy was super friendly and pointed out the free jewelry at the desk. Awesome! I was like a kid picking out a toy at the dentist.

Just drove an extra thirty minutes here after work hoping to get some new clothes. It’s 5:30 and there’s a sign on the door saying their closed next to the sign saying they are open til 6:09. Annoying!!!

It’s a nice place… no air on on the recent 90 plus degree day, so it was very hot. Closing selection is ok… not a ton of work tops. Only con is that if you want to «return» something not only does it have to be within 7 days but it can only be an exchange AND you can’t get it on a card for later, you have to buy it right then and there when you return, which doesn’t seem logical to me at all. Why allow «returns» aka exchanges if I have to do it on the spot?

I had one of the best customer experiences at this store. I just stopped in with my mom after finally realizing that I was only happy in large yoga pants and (sigh) nice, comfortable, made for your belly pregnancy pants. We found a ton of stuff that was only slightly worn and was my size (small)! However, there was a little issue with our credit card purchase and the (very nice) woman working on the weekend was unable to figure it out. I ended up leaving my large bag of clothes there, telling her I would be back the next week to pick it up when they had it all figured out.
I ended up getting a call from the manager a day later, who not only offered to mail me my items, but gave me a discount for all of my trouble! I was very happy to be saved the trip back, and I will be even happier when my bag of very reasonably-​priced pregnancy clothing arrives at my doorstep! I was happy with the selection, the staff, and the very good customer service — I will definitely be back!

Sadly this place was a bust for me, and that was especially disapointing because I drove quite a ways to get here.
For a place that does pretty much only maternity clothes, they were especially lacking in work appropriate (business causal) attire for pregnant people that wear size Small. It’s not that I’m especially tiny but I just wanted a few pairs of work pants and perhaps a couple blouses/​nicer tops. I don’t think I even tried anything on because nothing fit the bill. It was either super casual or too dressy (maternity suits).
To be honest, I had better luck at the Goodwill than I did here.

Renting a special occasion dress SEEMED like a good idea at the time… In the last 3 months I have rented two dresses from them. The first dress I rented (back in March) was a fine experience but the second time has left such a poor taste in my mouth that I would not recommend doing it. I ended up having to do the 5 day rental because the wedding I was attending was out of town, so the rental price was around $ 55.00 (if you do only the 2 – 3 day it’s a better deal of $ 35.00). When I went to return the dress, there was a stain on it (which I knew about) and they did advertise that your rental fee would include dry cleaning. Great, I figured because the stain was just something from dinner and I figured it wouldn’t be a bit deal to come out. I was contacted about 2 ½ weeks after dropping the dress off and was told that the drycleaners (a «green» cleaner) couldn’t get the stain out so now I needed to purchase the dress for $ 200.00. I wasn’t willing to leave it at that so I asked if I could come and pick it up and take it to my dry cleaner to give it a try. They told me I could but it all needed to be rushed so they could (potentially) order a new one if the stain didn’t come out. When I picked up the dress to see the stain, even the sales clerk had a hard time locating it (it was MUCH smaller than I anticipated) so I rushed it over to my dry cleaner and told them I needed it back pronto. My drycleaner was able to get the stain out no problem so I was thrilled thinking that I wasn’t going to have to purchase this dress. I got it back to the store right away and assumed everything was good to go. A few minutes later the (poor) sales girl came over and told me that I still owed them $ 20.00 for additional dry cleaning (now the 3^rd time that this stupid dress has been dry cleaned) because they needed to now send it BACK through their «green» cleaner. Ok, I understand you advertise about green cleaning and apparently it’s going to cause defects in fetuses around the world (all though with some research I found NOTHING to back this up), but in the interest of not pissing your clients off, don’t you think you would do what you could to try to save them from having to purchase a $ 200.00 dress by sending it to a different cleaner in the first place? I love the earth as much as everyone else but am much more annoyed at the thought of having to buy a dress because of a pea sized stain vs. my body being «exposed» to traditional dry cleaning elements. So for thanks for saving the store from the hassle of having to order in a whole new dress and losing profits while it gets shipping in from Australia, the price of the dry cleaning was dropped $ 5.00. So all in, this dress ended up costing me over $ 85.00. It would have been MUCH cheaper for me to just go to NINE and purchase one.

Today was my second visit to B2B. I wasn’t too enthralled the first time but decided to give it another go.
The good:
— good location
— easy parking
— a small play area for your little ones while you shop.
— definitely catered to soon-​to-​be and new moms (nursing area, etc).
The meh:
— selection: there never seems to be much of one. It feels very «samey» shopping here. Not much of a variation in styles. Most of it is Liz Lange, Old Navy and other ordinary labels. When buying from you they don’t want anything less than 2 or 3 years old, but I beg to differ in regards to what is actually on the sales floor.
— lighting: dim in the store, super bright in the fitting rooms.
The bad:
— it was SO HOT in there today. At an absolute minimum, fans should be running. I can’t believe how much I was sweating. Even my 3 year old was sweating. Made for an unbearable time in the fitting room with the hot bulbs in the fitting rooms. Can’t imagine what it’s like mid-​summer.
Not sure that I will return again. The 2 times I’ve been there, I have found a few things, mostly basics that I could probably find for just as cheap, new on a clearance rack at Target, Old Navy or Gap.

Babies are miracles and the end result is definitely worth the discomfort, but actually *being* pregnant SUCKS!
Stuff that sucks about being pregnant:
–Morning sickness, which is like having a 3-​month hangover that lasts All. Day. Long.
–Exhaustion.
–Heartburn.
–Leg cramps that strike so quickly and are so painful that you wake up from a deep sleep shouting curse words (which you then have to explain to your spouse who you’ve just startled awake).
–Months of lower back pain that never goes away.
–Feet so swollen they look like poison pups.
–It’s hard to feel personal satisfaction when putting on your underwear starts to feel like playing a game of ring toss.
–On the personal grooming front, if you’ve ever heard a pregnant woman say, «I just wish I could see my feet again,» I’m telling you right now that she’s not just talking about her feet.
–Hearing things like, ‘OMG YOU’RE HUGE!’ and ‘WHEN ARE YOU DUE AGAIN? YOU’LL NEVER MAKE IT!’ and ‘ARE YOU SURE IT ISN’T TWINS?!?’ (Why do people seem to think it’s okay to make comments about a woman’s weight just because she’s pregnant? I think I missed the memo that told me I had to stop caring what people thought. *Hurt feelings.*)
–Being hormonal for 40 solid weeks is exhausting. For example, I can’t stand crying, and yet it seems be a daily occurrence while pregnant. Like, one time a Miley Cyrus song made me burst into tears. That was NOT cool.
–Having a pregnant belly is an open invitation to other women to regale you with birth horror stories.
–Not feeling comfortable anywhere, not even in your own comfy bed.
–Drooling in your sleep. Thank goodness for Dr. Google, who has assured me I’m not the only drooling pregnant person out there. Guh. So sexy. :/​
–Fill in the blank with other stuff.
And last, but certainly not least —
–Having to wear the same 2 pairs of pants and 5 shirts week after week after week after week became so tiresome during my first pregnancy that I actually cried about my wardrobe a couple times, and I’m not a «cares about clothes» kind of person.
If you’ve never shopped the maternity sections at most stores, I will tell you that it is expensive, even the crap on the clearance rack.
So it is very unfortunate that I wasn’t aware of the existence of Bellies to Babies when I was pregnant with my first because knowing there was a source out there for cute, affordable clothes to spruce up my mood would have made everything so much more bearable. That has definitely been the case this time with my second pregnancy.
If you’re pregnant, you HAVE to come here. They have pants and shirts and dresses and skirts in every size imaginable and for every style out there. Their prices are also very reasonable. The last time I was there I walked out the door with 7 shirts for less than $ 50.
I have more shirts and more pants and can make more combinations than I could last time and that has worked magic on my emotional well-​being (and what preggo couldn’t use a mood boost every once in awhile?) Muchos besos, this store. It rocks!

I’d like to announce my pride in how I’ve been able to hold off until 24 weeks (six months) before even thinking about purchasing maternity clothes! Some people would call that «hard headed» but some would consider that «lucky.» I’ll go with the latter.
I researched quiet a few maternity consignment shops before checking out this place. I didn’t want to spend tons of money, and I’m not a skinny minny, so I needed a place where I wouldn’t feel stupid walking in.
I loved the flat rates — six bucks for shirts, nine bucks for pants.
I only walked out with shirts as pants for preggers like me was pretty limited… and from what I could find, they offered more capris and jeans than work pants. It’s nice that they have a «work» section so I don’t have to browse the entire store (which they are expanding!), but there really isn’t too much to browse through.
I’ve already recommended this joint, and she came back raving… but she’s also a tiny chick! Darn you skinnies! :)

I love this place. First, it is so well put together & darn pretty! It has no thrift shop feel, just thrift shop price. There is a wide selection of maternity wear — super casual to suits. The quality of the clothes is excellent — sizes and styles for everyone. I left with 4 tops and 3 pairs of pants for $ 50!
They purchase clothes on the spot — so bring in your not needed maternity wear.

This awesome little store is good as it gets! I hated to buy clothes during pregnancy that I knew I’d only wear for a short while, so this was the answer. Brilliant! The variety of clothing available was nice, and it is a super-​clean, well organized store that feels more like a boutique

This is one of the best stores I have stumbled across. They have a great variety of clothing, some for every size and style. They even have baby clothes, books and jewlery. It’s a hip little store with great customer service and quality clothes. It has helped me feel cute throughout my pregnancy. The best part is they buy the clothes back after you’re done with them!
