Just called my office and hung up on my assistant as she was taking a message for me… from 303−502−5663. Very rude at a minimum.

If I ever get another solicitation from the troglodytes that they hire, I’ll send the recording to CNN. The guy couldn’t have been a more offensive idiot. MJ and I had the same exact experience. Wouldn’t work with them if I had to.

The company and everyone who works for this company is rude and thinks they have the power to do whatever they want. I paid them over $ 5000 for a $ 5000 debt. Come to find out they not only expect 50% for the amount they collect but they are charging me $ 1600 on top of the amount I owed this parictular company. I paid and paid and paid. I ran into a wall with the final $ 1500 I owed them and they call so often they don’t even remember the previous conversations they’ve had with me. I would answer a question and the same guy would call later the same day with the same question.

this guy called me and treated me like i owed him money.
they wanted 40−50% for collection.
he started yelling and acting like a madman.
i was like WTF???

Just beyond rude and pushy sales people.
I gave them example company and they started calling them to collect debt even though I gave them no authorization to do so. I know that I would like collect my money but I do not wont to be associated with company harassing people.

Just got off the phone with a Scott. Very pushy and aggressive. I asked him numerous times to send his quote via email so I could get back to him once I spoke with my boss and he proceeded to tell me that my boss gave me the authority to make the decision. I told him clearly that I would not be making a decision over the phone and to please send me his bid in an email. Again he told me «at the end of this conversation» so I googled the company and found many complaints including here on Unilocal.I told him I considered the conversation over and that he could send me his bid and he told me to put my boss back on the phone, the answer was no and I hung up. He wanted 50% of the debt as payment, I’ve been off the phone for 10 minutes and still have not received his bid.

I didn’t know sales call like this still existed! A guy called me saying, ««Hi this is _​_​_​_​with a private investigation company and we are coming to pick you up. Are you ready?» I should have hung up then from that smart-​alec joke, but I let him give his pitch about collecting past due accounts for my small business. It was a bullying, fast-​talking phone conversation-​the equivalent of someone speaking 6 inches away from my face. I said I would need to talk with my bookkeeper first and he said, «Aren’t you the boss? You can take care of it.» I asked for a business name and phone number and he asked, «Why?» I said, «To look you up on Unilocal for complaints.» He reluctantly gave me the company name but not his name, nor his phone number to call him back, if I was interested. When he wouldn’t give me that information and started talking about the color of his tie… I hung up.

We’ve worked with Tucker Albin for the last two years. They have had success in collecting the majority of the open invoices that we sent them. Unlike most collection agencies they seem to be able to collect the debt in a way that is respectful to the debtor but at the same time encouraging them to pay their debt. In a space with so many sketchy companies I have been plesently suprised by their all around professionalism.

They called me and he went through his script like an agressive angry robot — he would not let me speak. I asked him for his website and only after asking 6 times did he stop and give it to me. I told him that I was not interested after I looked them up on BBB.
He called back again a week later and asked like we had never spoken — started on the same script. I told him to add me to his do not call list. He said it does not exist and that he can call me every day if he wants and continued with his script. HORRIBLE SALES CALL

Stay away from these guys!!! Just talked to the Texas attorney generals office and they have 16 active complaints against them in the last 2 years. They are very aggressive with their sales calls and refuse to give information on who they are, just keep pushing to give a rate… I have continuely asked them to quit calling and they keep calling. I even called then back and talk to a guy I was told is the owner Logan Erass, He stated would just deleted my number from the call list… then guess what… I received another call with the same opening script from them «Hi this is Tom with a private investigation company and we are coming to pick you up. Are you ready?» less than 15 min from hanging up with Logan. Check these guy out and google them… lots of bad info out there!!!

Edited — the person I was dealing with left the company and called me from somewhere else trying to get my business — so he stole his former employees client list — not ethical. But spoke to someone at Tucker Albin and they released the account so I can now go after them here in NY. He showed me a report of the times they called and contacted my client, something the sales person never did. So they did make an effort to collect from them, just was not successful.
In my opinion — the people I dealt with where totally incompetent. Gave them one client to collect money from and they made a couple of calls and that’s it. Initially the salesperson said they said they would file small claims against them, call their suppliers, and call them at home — but I don’t know what happened. They said it was too small to file anything. Too small for them, not for me too lose the money. And now that they have the client, if they ever pay me or they need me to work for them again, I have to pay Tucker whatever I get.
My advice is to do your research before you hire them — Google them and see all the information on them, or any texas based collection agency first. They sound great, they hire great salesmen — and that’s where it ends.
