The Color Shack

Very good group experience! Its affordable, comfortable, and is good therapy. I was VERY skeptical when my wife told me about it… She basically had really convince me of doing this. And also it was our sister in-law’s birthday get together. Now we are planing our next visit for next month. I had never painted before and by doing this, I could tell it helped me with letting go and relaxing for real. It was a good feeling seeing the final product. Our teacher Lisa was really helpful and had a great personality.

A group of us enjoyed painting a holiday snowman at Prestonwood Country Club. The artist was very skilled at guiding the group painting. We used a variety of painting techniques to accomplish a painting I was proud to hang in my home. I would recommend this instructor to friends and birthday parties.

My boyfriend and I had a blast here! We signed up for an evening group painting class but we were the only two who had signed up that evening; I didn’t have any complaints, that just meant more individual attention if we needed it! Jamal, the art instructor for the night, was great, funny and sociable, making the night even more enjoyable. Jamal walked through the painting with us, painting and explaining each step, to help us recreate the finished product that was displayed before us in the front of the room. We came to The Color Shack not knowing a thing about painting, never painted before, and left with two pieces of art that we made and are proud of (at least I am of mine), plus we had a lot of fun! I definitely recommend The Color Shack and I plan on coming back in the future!
