Very disappointed. I had a small chip in the windshield of my vehicle and when they «fixed» it, the chip turned into a crack. When I looked into getting it fixed, I was informed that I would only be given a credit toward a new windshield. Seems like a racket to me.
I am amending my review to 2 stars as today I received a call from someone from the shop who personally wanted to speak with me about what happened and wanted to make things right for me. That is a personal touch that you don’t often get.

Woke up NYE to 2 huge cracks on my windshield. Although I was grumpy, they were incredibly friendly and had me in and out under an hour. Excellent service.

I come here for the service and pricing. They are good at what they do. I’ve had windshields and side windows replaced. My only complaint is the side glasses they use are not as good quality. You can see in the reflection of the glass, that it is not curved as the original and has ridges; thus making the window motor/​regulator difficult to roll up. I wish they offered wifi and coffee in the waiting room (4 chairs), but this is a good local place that will get the job done. I’ve been here (unfortunately) on 4 occasions and will use them again.

From the insurance claim, scheduling through installation was a breeze! The installers, Mike & Tyler, came by the house and were courteous, professional, efficient and just really nice guys! They made sure I understood what I needed to do to ensure the installation would be sound before they left. Everything was done in 45 minutes like they stated! I’d recommend Richardson Auto Glass to anyone who needs their windshield replaced!

I asked for a quote for my windshield replacement and got it the same day. I scheduled a time via email and they were ready to replace my windshield at that time, No waiting. They stood on the quoted price. No last minute gimmicks like big name dealerships.
Don’t be fooled by the location. They have friendly staff and mechanics who know what they are doing.

The Richardson office ordered the correct window, but unfortunately put in the wrong windshield at our initial visit. This was very disheartening. However, with that being said, the office staff made it right by sending out Juan and Alex to our house to replace the wrong glass with the right one. These two gentleman were very fast, efficient and extremely professional. Any company would benefit by having employees of this stature, working for them. These gentleman were here first thing in the morning and had the job done, in less than an hour. These guys are the reason they got the five stars, otherwise it would have been a four star rating. Their office staff in Richardson is very polite, and professional too.

I submitted a request for a quote online late one night and the next morning got a follow-​up call with a good price and the ability to come out to my house. They even came out earlier than they originally said they’d be able to. My window was a particular challenge because part of the car got damaged with the glass was broken but the tech was patient and worked with it and did a great job. Very pleased with the price, fast response, and the great care the tech took with my car.

I was referred to three companies by my auto insurance provider. The initially booked with another company that frequentyl advertises on TV. They did not show up for two seperate appointments without a phone call or apology. I called the second company and they wanted $ 120 more for the same windshield and service offered by Richardson Auto Glass. When I called Richardson Auto Glass, I found their price and their customer service to be far superior to the other companies. I highly reccomend this company and will never take my business anywhere else. Both men I spoke with were knowledgable, professional, and friendly. Don’t waste your time with ANY other company! Call Richardson Auto Glass!!!

Our insurance agent recommended Richardson Auto Glass when it came time to replace my husband’s windshield on his old F150 that had cracked all the way across. I made a 9:00am appointment but arrived about 20 minutes early, and the truck was immediately taken to the back to begin the work. The small aiting area was very clean and quiet with several chairs for you to take a load off. Less than an hour later, the truck was ready to go and we were on our way. For $ 160, we were extremely satisfied. Everyone here was very friendly and professional and we are pleased with the quality of the work. I will definitely be back to get my windshield replaced in the very near future!

My Honda dealership referred me to this company for my rock chip repair. A tiny little rock hit my windshield and going 80mph it did make a small quarter size chip in my windshield. They gave me an estimate over email within 20 minutes and it was after 5. I wasnt expecting a quote until the next day. No appointment was necessary. The friendly receptionist had a tech look at my shield and he fixed it in 20 minutes and I was on my way. Can’t get much easier than that. I will say it was a little difficult to find the place. Its in suite 605. When you get there you see suites 605 A-​Z. They are in Q! It doesnt say suite Q on their website. I noticed it does say Q on Unilocal though, go figure. If you know that its Q when you arrive you’ll have an easier time finding it.

Thank you Unilocalers! After reading your reviews, I gave these guys a shot with replacing my windshield and am so glad I did! A little trouble with meeting their committed time frame, but, aside from that, no complaints. Quality work, competitive price and the lady working the phones (Kathy?) was very helpful. Another plus was there was no funny business about the price. They quoted a firm number over the phone and, when the work was done, the invoice was exactly the same.

I had my windshield replaced based upon the recommendation of my insurance agent. I paid the deductible and then I assumed the insurance paid the rest. About 2 months alter I got a large rock into my windshield. I was really dreading a second insurance claim. I called Richardson Glass Company and discovered I could get the windshield replaced for less than my deductible and no claim. This is the best deal I have ever had. And the windshield was an exact duplicate of the windshield in the vehicle. It was installed in less than an hour at their location. Very courteous staff. I will go back.

I called, brought my vehicle in a few hours later, they replaced within an hour for wayyyyy less than I expected (under $ 200) and I found out while I was there that the passenger side mirror couldn’t be easily replaced so they cut a piece of glass for me for $ 40 bucks… and that didn’t take long either. Excellent customer service! They are friendly and fast. Highly recommend. :-)

Recently needed to replace the windshield on the minivan. These guys were great: competent, confident, and business-​like. Great value. They were done within 60 minutes.
I love it when you find a business owner/​operator that «get’s it» and knows what good service is all about. These guys «get it».

So due to some unruly rocks flying up and cracking my windshield I needed a replacement. One of those «free fixes» just wasn’t going to cut it.
I go to my dealer who says, «It will be $ 899 to replace this here.» WHAT?! Gracias pero no! Then he says, «But you can take it to Richardson Auto Glass, who we use, and get it for about $ 300.» It pays to be in good with your service dude.
So off I went. And after a minor snag that resulted in me having to come back the next morning they had me fixed, paid and out the door in 1.5 hrs. James, the owner, was professional, courteous and efficient. 3 qualities that make me a fan of any business. I even have a 1 year guarantee. If a rock chips my windshield in the next year they will fix it for free.
These guys are the best kept secret in the underground auto world. Hidden back in an industrial park they are worth the search. If you ever find yourself in need of glass repair hightail here. Oh and ask for James. He will hook you up.

I was needing to replace the glass mirror on the driver’s side view mirror but had not had much luck finding a place to do it.
Cathy at Richardson Auto Glass was very helpful. She was able to get the glass for me next day and when I stopped by it was done in less than 20 minutes.
They’re located on the street behind Papasittos which made it pretty easy to find also. Overall I’d recommend them again.
