DIDNOTLIKERICHARDSONREGIONALORREGIONALMETHODISTWHATEVERYOUCALLIT. I had a horrible experience and the doctors were extremely rude, needless to say I can see why I only visited the hospital one time before YEARS ago and I will not be going back. Not even if it is the closest one to me on the way home. I think that they are all lazy and rude and not fair how they treat patients.

A Good Medical Center? Maybe. But definitely a Great ER! It’s weird to review a Medical Center but I always give credit where credit is due so I want to give kudos to the staff of the Richardson Regional Medical Center, specifically to the Emergency Room crew. I landed there after a sprained ankle several weeks ago and it was crowded. I hadn’t been to an ER in a long time but I was dreading it due to previous experiences. But Richardson Regional ER totally set the record straight for me. Maybe they had great CS training, or maybe it was just an awesome person, but to have this person in an ER, you’ll like it. The Lead Nurse on duty that night was spectacular. I would say I speak for many when I say, I think everyone get agitated from just sitting in the waiting room for hours not knowing. Not knowing who’s next, what’s going on, if there’s a doctor, if someone even cares, or if they’re even doing anything«back there». I sometimes think the doctors and nurses are just sitting behind there laughing at all of us in the waiting room, seeing how long they can keep us there before we lose it. Well the Lead Nurse that night kept us updated every 20 minutes. The thing that made me really appreciate her was that she showed she cared; that she understood. So even though it took me 4 hours to get in(that’s a given and I wasn’t expecting to cut in line) it was nice to know that someone on the«other side» understood and felt my pain. That she cared enough to not only update us but she would walk around and check on everyone and give treatment when she could. And here’s the kicker, the very next weekend, I had to make a decision to go to the ER again, this time for my 5 year old. Well, owing to my previous experience, I drove right back up to Richardson Regional even though there are two ERs closer to me. Luckily it wasn’t as crowded but our experience was no less. Although no one wants to end up at the ER, if you have to choose, I recommend Richardson Regional.
