Krispy Kreme Dougnuts

Slow drive– thru, I sat at the drive thru for 10 minutes. It appeared as if the car in front of me had received the wrong order. There was a lot of back and forth conversation and interchange of donut boxes. I was given the wrong order, and charged incorrectly. Staff did not communicate well. The guy and girl working were confused.

Glad this place is close to my house. I have never experienced them being slow for me but I have had quality issues. I work very early so when I do go im one of the first ones in. I thought that would mean freshest donuts… But I think they may have given me donuts from they day before to get rid of them. Not sure about that but they defiantly were not as light and fluffy. I don’t want to pay $ 8 for a box of yesterday’s donuts. This hasn’t happened every-​time… But still.

How can you NOT have Crullers? That’s the most basic donut besides a glazed one. This place has a huge line outside because they are so damn slow. NOT because they have a good product. Avoid this place like the plague. Dunkin Donuts is far superior to these people.

The doughnuts are straight from the refrigerator cold. It’s fine if they’re not hot, but cold? I don’t like refrigerated done so I go the the small mom and pop shop behind Krispy Kream.

Service is consistently beyond slow.
Come if you love the donuts but keep your service expectations low, very low.
Weekends are staffed with two employees and one is baking according to the only employee this morning.
It seems insane to be badly understaffed during your busiest time. The employees I have encountered are always nice and apologetic for the absurdly slow service but hat doesn’t make up for the drag on the day and absurdity of the situation.
The language barrier adds to the frustration.

I was waiting for the plunked cameras to come out. This is the most ghetto unorganized Krispy Kreme I’ve ever been to. Employees yelling at each other, attitudes all over the place. Ugh! Wasted a cheat day in this. I’m glad only left with one so my chest day wouldn’t be completely wasted. Off to find some other goodies! :)

Glad this place is in town, but the service is extremely slow. Team is nice, just no sense of urgency anytime I’ve gone in around 7am.

Went here this morning and had to wait over 25 minutes for under cooked donuts. When the drive through person gave me my coffee, she had powder sugar all over the coffee cup and bag. Decided to walk inside to let them know about the under cooked donuts and the floors were really sticky as though they never mop it. Will never go here again. Gives Krispy Kreme a bad name…

Worst Krispy Kreme location ever! I was actually really excited that this location was opening. But every time I go when the hot-​light is on I end up with cold crusty donuts! Last time I went I made sure to specify that I wanted the hot glazed and ended up with a dozen cold donuts! Not sure what the deal is with this location, but I won’t be back here for sure!

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. My Dr. Pepper tasted like carbonated water so I brought back to them. Their response was, «you want your money back or what?» I said I wanted a dr. Pepper. They said, «we would have to change out the soda.» LAZY! I just left.

I come here every morning and get a great cup of coffee and a dozen fresh donuts for my office. These guys are like family. and make the best donuts! Get the birthday cake donut… I need to go to the gym

Their donuts when its fresh out of the fryer is melt in your mouth goodness. I noticed that Krispy Kreme just opened up in our neighborhood but my son and I chose a really horrible time to try out this location. We visited on their 78^th birthday when they offered the deal where you buy one dozen you can get a dozen glazed donuts for .78 cents. When I got there the line moved fairly quickly. The girl who was boxing my donuts was either hard of hearing or didn’t understand English very well. I had to repeat myself over and over and the donuts that I wanted weren’t boxed. When I got to the cashier to pay, that’s where it all really started to fall apart. I ordered a cappuccino and the cashier said that the machine is broken. So I ordered a coffee and asked that they put hazelnut flavoring in it instead. I didn’t get my hazelnut flavoring and had to ask again. Also, I don’t know why but I had to pay for my drinks and my donuts in two different transactions. Why the cashier couldn’t have put it on one ticket is beyond me. In any event, I received my first assorted donuts when I paid but was told that it would be 15 minutes before I get my glazed donuts. So I patiently waited. My patience was wearing thin when 15 minutes had passed and I am still standing, along with many other folks who had kids in tow, for their glazed donuts. About an hour has passed and a long line has formed and no one has gotten their glazed donuts. This is where the manager Meme comes out with small samples of their birthday cake shake and starts handing them out to those who are still waiting. She proceeds to tell us that they had to shut down the machine because a foreign object fell in and they needed to fetch it out. The lady beside me starts to complain about the lack of structure and foresight on Krispy Kreme’s part when they decided to hold this «birthday celebration». She suggested that there should be a limit on the amount of donuts per person and that if you are going to be offering glazed donuts, it would be best not to run out of them so quickly. She also complained about the fact that she couldn’t order a latte as did I. The manager proceeded to explain the reason for the delay and said that the coffee machine is not broken. In fact, it was the cashier’s first day and the employee simply did not know how to work the machine. She gave us all coupons for free donuts on our next visit to apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the lack of preparation but the manager’s willingness to make things right, they get three stars.

Came in for breakfast with my nephew before a movie, and I wish we had gone to the other donut shop in the plaza. The cashier was rude and seemed uninterested in her job. The donuts were overpriced and they had a stale burnt taste to them. This was my first time to this location and quite frankly my last.

While their donuts at this location atlas the typical tasty treats we are accustomed to with the Krispy Kreme logo, the service is not as sweet. This is not the first or second time I’ve gone through the drive through and received the wrong donut and discovered the mistake after I’ve already arrived at work. They also often can’t hear clearly when people are ordering in the drive through, and I know my little Fiat isn’t make much noise at all. I called the location and the only help they offered was to leave work and come back to get the correct donut, but then hung up when I was still speaking to them. Very disappointed that a new breakfast spot has woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

Several of us at work were excited to hear about this recently opened location. I hadn’t seen a Krispy Kreme since moving to TX.
I drove right past it, even though a coworker had previously told me it was right off I-​75. Maybe this was because it was still dark outside and very early in the morning on a Saturday. The sign was hidden behind some trees. The infamous hot light wasn’t on, but no worries.
When I went in the smell was delicious. Hot, fresh, sweet donuts. The interior is brightly lit and new.
The staff was friendly. I ordered 2 dozen glazed to take to work, and everyone enjoyed them. They also have a convenient drive thru. I’ll definitely go back.

What can I say. Yummmm. This is a new location so the staff is still learning but I can excuse that cause the doughnuts are to die for. Very clean and friendly and they are working very hard.
Love the bunny butt decorations and easter decorations.
They need to staff to restock napkins and clean the tables but over all love this location,

Highly disappointed!!! I went on a Saturday morning & i wanted a lot of glazed donuts for my Sat School students. They didnt have ANY glazed donuts whatsoever!!! How the hell a donut store doesn’t have any donuts! The girl at the drive-​thru could barely talk & there were supposedly 4 managers on schedule at the time but no effin glazed donuts!!! There were 2 cars in front of me in which I had to wait 20 fucking minutes for them to get their order so I could leave w/​NO donuts! Couldn’t back out b/​c there was a line behind me. Ugh! Never going back there!

We went on a Saturday morning at 8. There were no hot ready donuts, which is fine I guess they can’t crank them or ²⁴⁄₇. They were also out of glaze, which seems a bit absurd. So no donut holes and maybe ¹⁄₃ of their varieties weren’t available.
All in all not a great first experience with this location. Do I have to call ahead to ask if you have glazed donuts?

For a brand new location these guys really suck. I ordered 3 donuts and an iced coffee. First off, I had to repeat my order several times before they got it. I ordered a cookie dough donut, kreme donut and a boston kreme. I also ordered a iced caramel mocha. Pretty simple order right? Well, we get to the drive through window and not once did the server acknowledge us, just took my card, didn’t tell me the price and proceeded to hand me my coffee without a lid and literally half of the cup filled with whipped cream. What!!! So, I’m driving and you want me to tote around a large iced coffee with no lid? Also, I paid for a large coffee not a small coffee with a gallon of whipped cream.
So, for the sake of getting out of there I just simply asked for a lid (which got me a look like whaaaat?) and drove off. I live in McKinney, so I drive home and open the box and low and behold I have completely different donuts than what I ordered. Albeit, good donuts but still not the donuts I ordered.
This experience really stunk and bums me out because I was soooo excited for a Krispy Kreme to finally be in my area. I definitely will not be visiting this location again. They are opening one in Allen and hopefully that’s run a lot better.

I had a great experience here. My wife and I found out we were having a boy and I called to see if we could get blue filled donuts (we had seen something similar online once). The first person I talked to wasn’t quite sure, but I ended up talking to a manager and he put in a special custom order for us, and even made them himself to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I came in the next morning at 7am and they were there waiting for us. Awesome customer service!
