Aw man I had such high hopes for this place because the people were great and it all looked so good.
The pita bread would’ve been good with their amazing hummus but it was brick oven baked and I was literally chewing on brick crumbs… LITERALLY.
Couldn’t even eat a piece of the pita bread. The meat was ok, the meat was VERY fatty and ‘boingy’ if ya know what I mean. Lol like when you bite into it and it boings right back into shape and u could be chewin for days… Lol gross.
But the portion was decent so there’s that. Most important the hummus was really, really good. Just couldn’t enjoy it with the bread that also looked amazing but would undo any dental work :-/​

Very disappointed. The hose clearly hadn’t been cleaned in forever, small chunks of carbon were flying through the pipe. Ordered double apple mint (fakher), and was charged star buzz rate. The baklava was soggy and old. The mint tea was jus tea bags with some mint. Overall pretty disappointing.

I love this place and visit it every week. But now i feel the quality of the hookah and food is not as good as it was before.
I ordered falafel and had a piece of plastic inside. They replaced the whole order which was good but the second time falafels were raw and i mean completely raw from inside not cooked at all. It was so cold and was just raw batter inside.
This is not expected from this kind of place

Great small family owned place. We stopped to get a hookah and a dinner. I had the gyro and a salad was very good while my husband had the chicken shawarma also very good. If you check in you can get a free cold salad which was very good. Our server yousif was very good and always had a positive attitude with a smile. Great service we will be back.

Disgusting. The inside was empty and the tables weren’t even arranged to welcome guests.
Food was cold and there were swarms of flies flying around. The back door to the patio was wide open no wonder. Especially since the dumpster was just around the corner. If I was a fly I’d fly inside the restaurant for (relatively) fresh food rather than dumpster food…
Not dumpster food but I’ve had better. Much better.
Also, I refuse to visit places where they charge a dollar for water.

Nice dinner for the night. The food was really cheap. The service was great. I will make sure we go back one day

Worst gyros I’ve ever had in my life. Had the gyro plate and got nothing but burnt pieces will not return anytime soon.

Oh my god. This place is amazing. The food is ALWAYS perfect. The gyros are… incredible. I mean amazing. Their lunch buffet rocks! The hookah is awesome. But the best thing about this place is the service. The owner is incredibly hospital. Last night it was pouring rain and the owner walked both of us to the car with an umbrella. Came back that night to smoke hookah and decided to buy one of our own and the owner came over and he went above and beyond to explain and show us our options and we couldn’t be happier with what we purchased. The staff even showed us how to use our own hookah. Bottom line. 10 stars if it was an option.

This is a review for the younger hookah lounge area.
Jasmine’s really isn’t what it used to be generally speaking that in the sense that the hookah really hasn’t improved at all, and often I’m having to get the staff to fix it 20 minutes in. The prices are just really not worth it when comparing to other lounges like Cairo. The music could have been the victory point but the speakers are absolutely terrible and you WILL leave with a headache. Loved when they had a couple DJ’s come and a lot of people would come and dance but with moving the DJ Booth and the speakers being trash, it’s not worth the time — or money.
My advice is to renovate the place, put the DJ Booth back where it once was, invest in new speakers, don’t have the same DJ’s — because they play the same sets (I had a binge and came here a lot at one time), and invest in some new hookah equipment, ice tips, and so forth. The place is nice to be «your first hookah place» and I really want to like coming here but I just don’t anymore.
The crowd is progressively getting trashier, and eh… it needs an upgrade.
Hope my advice helped, would love to write another review for whenever that renovation comes in the future.

Very good service. Last night was my first time and I was not disappointed. Really fresh and delicious food.
Didn’t have the hookah experience but this just gives me a reason to come back!

That’s really very great place to go on Friday Saturday to spend some time there good service good foods I love the falafel and hummus music player he is grades and he play whatever I know what kind of song you wanted to hear that night definitely I’m going back there again and again

the food here was very bad, I ordered a shawarma and it was the driest most stale thing I’ve tasted. the service is terrible, and the place is just dirty. I feel gross walking in here. my friend also sick after he ate… surprise surprise.

The food is good but the place and the service is really awful if they work on improving their service the food is very good

I been coming to this place for past 2 ½ years and every time it has been a great experience. Food is fantastic!!! I smoke hookah for hours. Nameer the owner and his brother always make sure their customers are happy and have a great service. Best hookah lounge in Dallas!!!

I should probably write an update to this review; it’s been over two years and I’ve had the Dukedom for a long time. I obviously like it more than ‘just’ three stars.
As a caveat, I’ve never been to Jasmine’s earlier than 6pm. I’ve never done their lunch buffet, but have only ordered food in the evening — usually accompanied by hookah.
They have several options for seating. First is inside the main restaurant, which does not allow hookah so you can be smoke-​free if you wish. There is a louder indoor lounge that is nightclub-​eque which does allow hookah, and two outdoor seating areas that are enclosed and sheltered in the winter months with some heating and TVs, with a few tables scattered outside. I have personally sat almost exclusively in the outdoor, sheltered seating.
A few years ago, Jasmine’s changed hands. Since the new owner took over, every time I return there is a new improvement, from new tile facing, to decorations, to heaters. It was kind of run-​down when I first started to go, but now I look forward to seeing what new thing he has done upon every visit. Service is nice, even if it can be somewhat less than organized at times.
Parking can get… creative… if you go late at night. Be prepared to park on the street to the side if you come after 9pm.
The food is wonderful; I’ve tried a number of their plates, from the kebab to the gyro, and the chicken slouvaki wrap is a go-​to staple. I highly recommend their pots of tea, as well.
To have a good night at Jasmine’s, grab a few friends and head over. Order some dinner, order a hookah, and spend a couple hours trading the pipe around and socializing. Thanks to the lack of loud music so common in other hookah bars in the DFW area, you can actually hear each other and converse. It makes for a very chill, relaxed, and no-​stress evening.

This place is very chill and the food is great. It’s for sure teeny bopper central when school is out or on weekends.

It’s definitely a very casual hookah lounge. Service is very casual as well. I remember when I would go there late and it would be packed so we wouldn’t see our waiter much but even now when I go during non-​rush hours, I still don’t really see our waiters either.
There are 2 separate buildings but parking is all in the back for both. Before, you could smoke in both but now they have changed it up to where the building with regular tables is for dining only and the other building with the giant lounge chairs and lower tables is for hookah but you can order food there too. It makes sense since some people may only want to go there for food.
The food there is good but I especially love the mixed grill (the chicken is the best). They also have a buffet now which I have not tried. It looked okay but nothing special.

Authentic hookah bar with mid-​range prices. It is extremely casual and laid back, including the customer service. There are two spaces: one for traditional users, and one that is more modern. As my friend is more of a traditional type, we ventured to the traditional side.
Like I said, service is really laid back, and our waitress disappeared halfway through our visit. This wasn’t bad, although we had to track her down when we were ready to pay.
One group on our side was smoking cigarettes, so be prepared for that. Also, they used to be closed on Saturdays.
If you are really looking for a true hookah experience, get a few friends together and go enjoy a smoke.

My friends and I have been going to Jasmine Hookah for years and I really don’t get all the bad reviews. The staff is really laid back and they have really yummy food options, it’s a little better than bar food, but it’s NOT a restaurant. It’s a place to crash on a couch, hang out with your friends and enjoy a hookah.
Some nights they have «happy hour prices» which are incredible! I don’t go often enough to identify a pattern but you can get some great choices there for not a lot of money and their hookahs are great!
