I CAN’T EVEN… JUST…NO!!! NONONO! DONOTGOHERE! I’m honestly not even sure how I ended up here(it wasn’t my idea) but I thought…“I’m open-minded…ok, let’s give it a whirl.” I should have walked right out, but again, I thought…“nahhh…it’ll get better”. I was wrong, which has happened before, but only once. Listen, it’s got sketchy written all over it. Just the mere fact that you walk in through the«chicken restaurant» to get to the«hookah lounge» is a good indication of why this place is whack. I will say that I went on a Wednesday night, around 9:30pm, but I’m quite confident it doesn’t get too packed on any given day of the week. We walked into the«hookah lounge» to a room filled with smoke, ZERO patrons, and a few dudes who seemed to be working there but were really playing music(the music was the only good thing… but was mostly rap… fetty wap on loop), and a few of them seemed to be practicing their hip hop dance moves. Now that I think about it, it was very much like the twilight zone! The hookah wasn’t even good, so there you go. I’ve given you every reason NOT to go here, so please do yourself a favor… don’t do it!

The hours are great but service is not that good. Some of the staff is ok but service and attitude is horrible by a sour-faced woman who is always yelling, screaming and complaining to staff and customers. I haven’t been there for a while now so not sure if she’s still there. She kind of looks Asian/Vietnamese and always had an angry look on her face. The scene here changes dramatically depending on timing. Not really designed as a gourmet food place but more as atmosphere for hookah, music & to hangout.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. So it was our first time coming to the overnight Club that opens at 2 a.m.. we tried the hookah which was horrible and the coals were cold, the hookah had no flavor and was over price. this place charges $ 10 to get in a small crowded area after 2 a.m. the crowd was crazy, fire hazard packed, you could bring your own liquor but you couldn bring chasers because they sold over price chasers. small can of pineapple juice was $ 3, Red Bull was $ 5 for a small, cups were two for a dollar. they wouldn’t let us bring our own chasers or cups because they wanted you to buy their stupid over price crap. now that’s not even the worst part they had three fights in less than 30 minutes and glass was thrown which cut my friend but they continue to play music even though people were injured. we went to the bathroom to clean up the blood that was on her arm and the guy that owned the place tried to knock down the bathroom door to get us out of the building. we wasn’t even involved in the fight yet we were treated like we were. I advise you to read this comment because it will save you a lot of trouble. please avoid this place at all costs my friend got cut, I got drink spilled on me, and my other friend got blood splatter on their neck. this place is horrible and it wasn’t even worth dog shit are two shiny pennies to rub together

This place needs some redecorating!!! However, the food was actually really good! It’s bitter sweet. I just wish it wasn’t tacky looking, but the lack of people there could be the reason why they don’t want to decorate. Nevertheless the bathroom had random things in there, which is NOTOKAY. Good food but bad environment!!!

It’s primarily an after-hours spot so unless it’s past 2AM, I’d recommend passing on it. It’s not bad, but definitely could be managed better. It appears as if Habibi must have hit its prime years ago. The owners aren’t the most friendly in the world, but the actual staff is awesome which is what counts. Another cool aspect is that they have a great selection of hookah flavors and the music is pretty cool. For the most part, it’s a heavy international scene with lots of African and Arabic music. If you’re in the area and it’s late, consider a decent late night choice that would be fun for a group. Still… not too sure I wouldn’t drive all the way to Richardson just to experience it.

There are so many bad reviews and I guess I’m here to add another to the list. As frustrating as it is to write these, here is my verdict: Habibi is in no way a fancy place nor do the owners invest any money on the aesthetics, décor, furniture or cleanliness. The overpriced«aluminum foil wrapped» hookahs leak and they never clean them. But set that aside, and pay attention to the extremely rude behavior of the woman whom tries to grab people at the door like there was no tomorrow. She is extremely pushy and talks like a dictator from a long past militant régime. She is truly an avaricious money sucking woman! And she must be related in some way with the owner as she has been there for a long time disrespecting customers with her rude behavior. To start she will charge per person a «cover». Yes you heard right! It’s a tiny rat hole place and she charged a $ 5 cover! She doesn’t tell you anything about it but just adds it to your bill. Even if you sit for five minutes. There is no dance floor to speak of, it’s a «restaurant». Who knows where they get the food from, maybe already precooked somewhere else because I’ve never even smelled anything cooking there. They must just warm everything in the microwave oven. They used to have a DJ whom used to play middle eastern music but there was no DJ on my visit and loud overhead music in the style of hip hop is all that was played. Beware if you think you will be in for fun. They will rip you off… As they don’t have a liquor license all they can sell is non alcoholic beverages so I had a cup of hot tea. It was a lousy bag tea for a whopping $ 3 dollars plus tax!!! This is not nice! I was angry!!! I hope the owner decides to get rid of that woman! I can’t ever suggest this place to anyone. It’s bad all the way. Steer far away from this place where their motto is to treat the customer badly and greedily take what they can while you’re their victim. The worst Hookah lounge all over Dallas!

I would give this place zero stars but I have to settle for the rating of one as per Unilocal system. Never ever go anywhere near this place. The lady the usually greets there charged my credit card $ 18 dollars for two hot teas… Really??? She charges even to pee there. That woman is a wallet sucking vampire. Bad service, bad food, a hell hole atmosphere, bad, music… Stay clear from there if you want to avoid a bad experience.

Went in on a weeknight after seeing how crowded Jasmines was. The hooka was perfect, the food was delicious and the service was top notch. This is my new favorite hooka spot in Dallas.

Alright I had to write another one since i came back here again for a friends bday. I begged him to go to a diff place since we hated this place. So I went with 5 friends and right when we walk in the lady comes up and says«I understand you guys are here for a party but Its gonna b a 5 dollar charge per person, you can’t just sit around and hang out.” Wow that’s all I had to say, we just wanted to smoke hookah. One hookah is good for 5 people. How the hell u gonna charge us 5 per person. That’s why u guys don’t have any business what so ever. And while we were sitting looking at the menu and talking to friends the server kept eye balling us. So we all left to jasmines next door.

I love this place. I come here at least one a week! They expanded a while ago, so now they have a sweet lounge! Its very roomy and they have a great music. If you get there when they start gettting busy, the owner DJs! They have a variety of hookah flavors. My favorite Double Banana &Guava. My flavor of choice however is mint. I am a minty person. I have had the food there and it is amazingly yummy too. Hummus is a choice if you have never had food there. Chicken Tandori is so good that I find it hard to share! Yvonne makes the best lemon merainge pie, flan, and i could go on… I have never had one single compliant to say about the service. Yvonne is very friendly and sweet. She is very attentive and helpful if its your first time there. It really picks up Fridays and Saturdays after 10 or so. Its a really great time so network there any time before that. I have met many an interesting people there. They do have belly dancers and she comes out when its packed. &speaking of do not park at the big major company building(i believe its a telephone service co) because they tow! They pool tables, Xbox, games, boxing, from what i remember off the top of my head. Oh its bring your own wine there. I Hope I helped!

It was the first time for me to go to an actual hookah lounge and I thought it was pretty neat. They’ve got tables and they have an area near the wall where there’s cushions and lower tables so you can have a more authentic feel to it when you’re smoking the hookah. They’ve got a nice selection of flavors for the hookah. We had the house blend and peach. The peach was a bit… bland, but the house blend was really fruity, flavorful, and had a tiny bit of a licorice aftertaste to it that wasn’t too overpowering. Also they have a four persons per hookah rule. They do have a food menu, but all I tried was the hummus, which was so tasty that you might need to order more bread to finish it off. Some people in our group got some salad that looked really fresh and healthy. Also some had the chicken tandori that looked really spicy but it was really mild and kind of thick trying to cut into. Additionally all the drinks came in cans or bottles. Our server who you can tell looks kind of old, but still has game was really amiable and helpful with ordering things. Service was awesome. After talking to her a bit, I found out she went to the Miss Universe Contest in Korea in 1980! We got there around 730 ish and was kinda slow but by the time we left around 10 it was really picking up! I believe they’re open until about 5am on weekdays and 6am on weekends. Here’s another bit of info they also have belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights starting around 12!
