GoMow

This company is a disaster. They are constantly saying that they will have the crew there to mow and they never come. When they do come, they do shoddy work, blowing all the leaves into the street. These guys are terrible. Find someone else.

If you want a simple mow and blow then GoMow will be perfect. Please keep in mind this is not a horticultural, science based landscape company. They quickly mow and edge adequately and the guys are pretty nice. I also find their company communication to be pretty good as I get regular emails letting me know when they are behind and what to expect as far as scheduling. Right now, they are behind schedule but that is to be expected due to all the rain. You really don’t actually want your lawn mowed while the soil is soggy and the grass is wet.
If you are looking for actual lawn care pros that will assess for insects, disease and fertilize with quality organics that feed the soil and not just the plants, then there are quite a few of those in town. Think of Go Mow as your hair stylist, but you do the deep conditioning. :)

Called to schedule a one time lawn mow and leaf pick up. was told the crew would be there on Friday. Called in at 12p Fri and was told the crew would be there, called again at 3:30p and was told the crew would be there… no one showed up.
I will not use them again.

I have found GoMow to perform exactly as promised. Nothing but praise here. They provide a lawn mowing service that’s quick and easy — from setting up service on a weekly basis to processing my payment info. with the friendly GoMow customer service team. My yard looks great and I highly recommend this company serving Dallas and Austin!

If there was a zero, that’s what I would give them. We used their mow service for a couple of months, and was generally okay with them. They would mow the grass to short during the summer, but we let it go. We decided to use them to clean out our flower beds and add new mulch. Worst decision, ever. To start they didn’t clean out the beds, and just put mulch on top of the grass, limbs, leaves, debris, etc. We called them to notify them the beds were not cleaned prior to the mulch, so they offered for a supervisor to come out and «reconcile» the situation. After clearly showing them what was wrong, all they did was come back and add more mulch on top of the original mulch they added. All in the midst of this they were «cleaning» up their mulch mess by blowing it in to our neighbor’s alley, we only knew this because we got a letter from our neighbor telling us. So we notified them again of the issue and sent an email with pictures, this time they argued with our complaint and said we were not stating the «facts correctly». The fact that they are willing to argue with their customers proves they are not a company anyone should hire.
The total project was $ 500, big waste of money.

I had the same experience as another reviewer. I used them for two months and not one single time was the lawn mowed or edged correctly. I really wanted to give them a chance to I contacted the office and sent pictures and tried to work with them.
There were always patches in the grass that were just not mowed at all and sometimes they wouldn’t edge at all. Sometimes they would edge some of the yard and miss other things. I decided it was ridiculous to pay a company to do the lawn and then have my husband go fix it when they left.

I have been using GoMow for a couple of years and their service is great! I love coming home on the day my yard has been mowed. Their service makes it easy, no worries about leaving a check for someone. Love it. I even use their bed crew to clean out my flower beds and remove leaves, etc once a year. Easy, realible and dependable. Give them a try.

Once again, if there was a 0-​star option, these guys would be right there.
I received a flyer from
and thought it was a genius idea. It was a quick and easy billing option and seemed like something that people have needed all along. However, each time I had to deal with these people made me less excited and more irritated.
I had my lawn mowed the first time and was somewhat pleased, even though they arrived a day late because their truck was robbed. I felt bad, so I didn’t complain. The second time I had the service, they came 3 days later (I was signed up for weekly service) and called to inquire about the strange time schedule. Instead of an apology or an explanation, Josh, who I assume is the owner, called to argue with me. I called later to change to bi-​weekly service and AGAIN! Josh wanted to argue with me.
As for the lawn service itself? Terrible. I mean an absolute joke. I’m sure they pay these guys next to nothing because they get the job done in 10 minutes, and believe me, that’s not a good thing. I have a HUGE front and back lawn and 10 minutes will not suffice. The website clearly states that the men mow and edge your lawn, but this is an out and out lie. My dog could edge better than this. They left tall patches of grass untouched.
I could go on, but it’s not worth it. Don’t bother with this service, it is truly a rip-​off.
