I like having this place in my neighborhood. It’s a fun place to unwind after work. Decent food at decent prices. Great prices on pints.

If you are a smoker this place is for you. NOT me place has a good business Prices more than most because smokers came blow smoke and eat. After a couple of beers and the fish and chips which was pretty good I must leave as the smoke smell is way to much.

This place was a bit hard to find. We walked in and they checked IDs. We then sat down at a booth. Crystal was our waitress I believe and she was very attentive. I got the parmesan crusted fries, with the Tequila Lime and Hot Wings ranch sauce. My coworker got wings as well. She got a fireball and I got a mango margarita. I liked the fact Crystal asked if I wanted my fries out before my entrée(I was starving)! The fries came out fairly quickly and it looked like a little bit of fries because the basket was big. But the fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It was nice and crunchy & fresh! Best fries Ive had from a bar! My wings then came out shortly(I was devouring my fries and wings came out before I finished them). Wings were cooked to perfection! The food came out really fresh! Even my coworker agreed and she’s quick to call if something is wrong! Crystal was nice by asking if we needed water as well even though we had drinks(thats a plus) sometimes water drowns my food better than drinks do. All in all good expierence. We then played pool afterwards and that was fun. My coworker didnt complain about anything so thats good because after end of each work week my coworkers and I find a place to eat & just relax before heading home & every place we gone to my coworker wasnt happy with staff, food or service. This is first place she didnt complain about any!(:

First time at Fox and Hound! Hostess was nice at front door and explained the process of swiping our licenses. Had a seat and waited for someone to come take our drink order. Waited 7 minutes and no service yet, place was not busy since plenty of seats available. I finally got up and walked over and asked the hostess if they had waitresses on duty. I knew they did since one of them was leaning against the wall picking her fingers and the manager behind us to busy talking to customers and kicking it with them! Still no service after the hostess went over and said some thing to a waitress. So I got up and left! This place is nothing like the Chicago locations! They lost my money I had to drink away!

Husband and are here working and decided to stop in. Wished I would have read the reviews. First time in TX and wasn’t aware there was still smoking in restaurants. The smell was way to much. No special happy hour on food or wine/beer for a Friday. Good food but small portions for the price. I’m sure it’s great for the smokers but how about the non smokers? Won’t be back.

Went to Fox & Hound last night for a drink and appetizer. The space is large, dark and comfortable. I’m new to Texas so the whole«swipe your ID to become a member» when you walk in thing, was different for me. I learned that they have to make all their customers«members» in order to serve them alcohol. Pretty cool. The beer special of the month was a $ 5 Blue Moon. Basic. Still a good deal(I guess). I had a beer and a side of fries. Overall, the environment was pretty chill, except for the fact that smoking is allowed. #GROSS.

So I was catching up with an old friend, and we are looking for place around Richardson. So we decided this place. Well nice atmosphere, big screen TV, Foods are decent, and friendly staff. In addition, they also offer Happy hour. So only 3 Dollars a beer. They only bad thing I need to complain is their restroom. Maybe it was the time I went. There were paper towel every where. Just not clean. If I was too full. I would of throw up.

Popped in here for a quick meal while in town for work. Didn’t even realize there are still places in the US where you can smoke indoors. They scanned our IDs because it is a «social club» 21+ and we had the pick of the place for tables. As I said, I was surprised to see ash tray’s on the tables… the place did not smell good. I’m sure this is a good place to watch a game or play pool. I gave it two stars because our server was super attentive and nice and the tomato soup, though small, was quite flavorful. The salad I had wasn’t great and I just once again, could not get over the smell. I don’t know if I could stomach returning.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s either a hit or miss. Why? Mainly the customer service. You will either love it or you might leave a little disappointed with the service you receive. Food: I recommend the ultimate platter. It’s great to share if you’re with a group of friends or if you can’t decide on what to order. The platter includes drunken chicken tenders, boneless wings, loaded tots, mozzarella sticks, and biergarten pretzels. The platter is $ 18, but totally worth it if you plan on sharing. Drinks & specials: I recommend coming here on Tuesday’s. Beer for $ 2! You really can’t beat this deal. My friends and I love coming to Fox on Tuesday’s(for this reason). We also enjoy playing darts and shuffleboard. Lots of college students from UT Dallas hangout here. 3⁄5 stars because of the customer service. You can find me at Fox chillin’ with my $ 2 pint of beer in my hand!

We were charged an extra drink that we never received. When we brought it to the waitress’s attention, she said that she must have charged someone else’s tab, but everyone’s was right. She got the manager, and he came to the table to let us know that he «gave someone at our table a free drink» and would not admit fault. He was a jerk about it and talked to us like children. Never coming back to this«private club».

Smoking allowed… Ugh. Very overwhelming this visit. Gross and disgusting and definitely not worth staying to try to handle it. Many other good places nearby.

Always a sports bar you can count on. We stopped in to watch the end of a soccer game. We were very happy they had it on but were pretty happy with how empty the place was. It is a large space, so it is either generally empty or totally packed during big events. Prices are generally on the average to high side, but service can vary a lot. Food is very solid sports bar food, but nothing unique or fancy. Their wings and pretzels are good, paired with cold beer(they have a decent selection) its a good spot for escaping the heat or catching any sporting event.

Like usual the place was clean and the staff friendly. My friend and I tried some of the special mixed drinks they have, very good and refreshing coming in from the heat. I ordered the bone in Ribeye w/parmesan fries and roasted vegetables. This is the first time I’ve experienced not great food at this place. Too much food for the size of the dish, my steak was on top of my fries making most of them soggy. The steak itself was good, however, the cut was uneven making about ½ of it the medium rare I requested with the other ½ medium. All in all on the steak it was pretty good, there is only so much a cook can do with a badly cut steak, especially a ribeye. I wasn’t expecting the roasted vegetables to be onions, bell peppers and four slices of zucchini that were barely warm. Not impressive. The parmesan fries, not sure where the parmesan was but they were so salty I could only stomach eating 6 of them. I let the server know and she was sympathetic but that was it. There was a manager floating around. I know this because he just came over and introduced himself to us after we had ordered food. Which I thought was interesting. I’ve been to this place about 8 other times and that has never happened so it made me wonder right then if there was something going on. I did not flag down this person when I wasn’t happy with the food because I actually wanted to see if the server would tell him. I can only assume she didn’t as he didn’t show up to address my issues with the meal. Perhaps this is why he floats around, if the staff isn’t bringing complaints to attention. My suggestions for this meal to the management if you read this: –If you cannot get well cut bone-in ribeye in order to cook better evenly, go without the bone –Make sure all the food is hot on a hot plate. This was served in a «sizzler» platter that wasn’t warm to the touch. –Don’t pre-make and then«hold» your veggies –A little less salt in your steak mix would help to not overpower this mild cut of meat –A LOT less salt on the parmesan fries –Parmesan on the parmesan fries I spent a bit over $ 40.00 for 2 mixed drinks and an «okay» steak. I expected a bit more and wonder if some staffing in the kitchen has changed drastically.

I’ll be short, but not sweet for this review. I will say that the pool tables are in good condition and there are some nice dart boards, they have ping pong and our server was honest. The rest is all downhill for me. The prices are too high, the food isn’t even recommended by the wait staff and indoor smoking is permitted. I couldn’t stand the smoke smell and left covered in it. So if you smoke and like any games I mentioned this could be your kind of place. You will not see me there.

This is a good place for a chill night. I went to hang out with my friends and we enjoyed ourselves with a few drink specials, pool, and dart. There aren’t too many people going during the weekdays, but weekends are pretty busy. There are drink specials every day here.

Service is good. It was empty on a xmas eve. The beer selection isn’t too bad. Just a great place for large groups. They offer those strange music videos. The music is pretty random and entertaining. Wish i could hear the audio for the games. Oh well.
