Business Owner

Jim Falgout founded Falgout & Associates, PC in 1986 in Richardson, Texas. Prior to that, he worked for two large international and two local CPA firms and a publicly held oil and gas company. He enjoys assisting business owners with selecting the most advantageous type of entity, developing tax strategies, providing financial statements for third parties and understanding their financial statements in addition to compliance with federal and state income tax requirements. He assists business owners with developing business strategies, monitoring them and adjusting those strategies for the most profitable results. He believes in developing a sound business strategy then determining the best income tax benefit.

He assists individuals with their income tax strategies and compliance with income tax requirements. This can include timing of sales or purchases of assets; to understanding how changes in tax code effects them.
