Meet the Business Owner

David F.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Texas, I studied at the University of Houston where I received a B.S. in Biology, a B.S. in Physiological Optics and a Doctor of Optometry degree. I also hold an M.S. in Biology from Texas Southern University.

While completing the optometric curriculum, I lectured on Anatomy and Physiology at Houston Community College. After working as an optometrist for three years, I opened my own practice in 1982. My experience has allowed me to specialize in unique contact lens fits and treatment of eye disease and infections.

In 1991, I completed extensive coursework in Ocular Therapeutics at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. I was certified by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist in January 1992, and in September 2000, I became a board certified glaucoma specialist. As a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association, I stay informed about new and developing technologies.
