History

Established in 1993.

I began practice in Garland in 1993. I moved to Richardson in 2000. My practice is a very comfortable private office, no crowded waiting room, busy office staff, or long waits for your appointment to begin. It’s totally private and confidential. I have a vast network of ancillary providers I have known for years and trust completely, if you need services such as medication evaluation or testing. You can schedule online, print the intake forms, and walk right in to your first appointment. I accept cash, checks, debit, and all credit cards. I am on over 75 insurance networks. I work to make your visits seamless. I am looking forward to meeting you.

I grew up in south Louisiana and Mississippi. My family moved to Texas when I was thirteen. So, you can guess, I have a true southern accent! I received my BS with a double major in Counseling and Psychology, and a MS in Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce. I have enjoyed presenting seminars on a local, state and national levels, and training counseling interns.

I enjoy the outdoors and spend as much time as I can on my acreage in the Piney Woods region of Texas. I am the father of two adult daughters, and I am blessed with a grandson. Family is important to me.

I have had extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Life transitions are also an important part of my training and experience. Whether it be grief, divorce, marriage, remarriage, job loss, or a transition you have been looking forward to.
