Arboretum Estates

Don’t sign a lease here.
I have lived in 7 apartments in my life and nothing has been as bad as Arboretum Estates. This place would be fine if it wasn’t for the worthless maintenance. I have to call every two weeks because something always breaks.
It takes at LEAST 2 weeks for a maintenance person to come.
The crappy dishwasher just broke for the 4^th time, the food disposal, and omg trying to work the handles for the showers. The water is either ice or lava and you have to be an arm wrestling champion to twist the handles. Maintenance «loosened» it so it’s less of a struggle but is still difficult to shower.
It took at least 3 weeks for someone to change the damn batteries on the smoke detector that would beep every minute.
Latest problem! I started noticing gnats flying around. When I investigated the problem LORD AND BEHOLD rotting moldy wood underneath the sink! I kill at least 20 gnats with apple cider daily. I called maintenance and they «fixed» the food disposal because it was leaking. But nobody has come and fixed the rotting wood underneath the kitchen sink and THEN l noticed two gnats in my bathroom. Hmmmm strange why do I see two gnats hanging around my bathroom? I look underneath my bathroom sink and Yay! There’s more rotting mold wood! The pipes are bad, the appliances are bad, this place is bad.
I am so sick of this nightmare of an apartment. The space is great, the balconies are great, even the gym and pools are great. But I shouldn’t have to live in a smelly, rotting, gnat infested apartment when I clean every day.
