Really bad policies, apparently everyone who sits at table has to have all you can eat. My sister and I were craving sushi and my mom accompanied us(mom doesn’t like sushi) and the waitress said my sister and I couldn’t get all you can I unless all three of us got all you can eat. That’s really stupid and inconvenient. So we left… Don’t go unless your whole table is planning on having all you can eat.

Good food but service is not that great. When I go it seems to be slow n the waitress takes forever. Sometimes the food is ready n she hasn’t brought it to our table, I feel like getting up n getting it myself!

The sushi is good, not the best I’ve had but good enough to bring me back here more than a few times. The prices are a little high but not unreasonable. The staff is friendly though and they are very fast with the food.

The food is good, good Job cooks, as far as the servers they take care of you as soon as u aproach them, they forget that ur there. Bad customer service, but appreciate the food.

I come here to grab some sushi whenever I’m in the area. Sometimes I get AYCE, which is like AYCE any where else. Sometimes I get single rolls. Fish always tastes fresh, and the rolls are filling. My favorite roll is the Fiesta Roll, which has crabmeat inside and chopped up salmon with jalapenos on the outside. Spicy enough to get your nose runny.

Sodas r not refillable, AYCE limited, rolls have too much rice … For $ 5 more id rather go to miyagis in San b or takumi in upland … We have AYCE sushi at least once a month and this place was def not to standard! They charged us $ 2 for not eating all their rice ! Lol — never coming here again.

2 stars because the food didn’t get me sick and the staff was friendly. The rolls were oddly assembled and the fish was not fresh. The flavor was just off. I will not be returning even though I have to drive a lot further to get sushi elsewhere. It’s just not very good.

New to the city and this was the first place that caught my eye. Unilocal reviews said it was good so I decided to try it for myself. When we first got here, there were only about 4 other people here. We sat at the bar and the waitress explained how the menu worked, etc(even though all AYCE usually works the same). We asked the chef to make us his special and he did, which is the picture I have attached. It had spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, cream cheese, crab meat, avocado, cucumber w/salmon, friend onions on top with spicy mayo, eel sauce, ponzu and lemon juice. The presentation was great and the taste was amazing. I was overly surprised. We continued to order roll after roll and all were exceptional. Took long to get the miso, but other than that all was well. I will definitely be coming back!

Service was fine and the restaurant was clean. Sushi to rice ratio was just unbelievable. I never realized that fish could be sliced so thin it was almost transparent and the rice ball was the size of a large marshmallow. The rolls were heavily riced as well but definitely better than the sushi. I will not come back here, people believe the reviews.

AYCE is a must when you come here! My favorite is the Sapporo Roll… Eating now and it’s Ah-Mazing! This place has great atmosphere, service, and food! Great for parties, great to get away. Not opened on Sundays which is fine, most sushi places aren’t anyway.

My first time eating there earlier this evening, if this review was solely based on food easy 4 but my husband felt unsettling from the time we step through the door to the time we were served our dinner. I don’t know whether they were under staffed/preoccupied. Didn’t seem busy but we were standing around awkwardly for a good 10 minutes before being greeted/seated. Just didn’t feel that customer friendly vibe so it made our night uncomfortable. But like I said the food was good and who knows we might have a better experience next time.

Not too shabby. The menu was easy to read. I loved that it had the fresh sushi listed separate from the fully cooked sushi. This made it easier for me to make my selection because I can’t eat raw sushi. A lot of times waiters aren’t very patient in helping me understand what’s raw and what’s not so this actually was a big deal to me(I’ve walked out of many sushi places due to this problem) Our waitress was friendly. My husband knows nothing of Japanese beer, but wanted to try it. Our waitress was very helpful in recommending a few of the popular selections and he actually really enjoyed the one he chose. Also she kept topping off my drink without me having to ask. I know it sounds crazy but everywhere I go I always order water(I just love water), and believe it or not some ppl actually get annoyed with it. It’s frustrating because I know that if I were paying for my drink they’d top it off like crazy. So when I find someone who generally just cares that I have something to drink, that’s an A+ in my book. The sushi itself was good. The sauce became a bit over powering after a few pieces so I guess maybe next time I’ll see if i can get less sauce? But other than that, the rice was a good texture and the seaweed wasn’t dry. The establishment itself was nice and clean. And the staff seemed very friendly. Moderately priced, for being a sushi place, but it wasn’t too bad. Can’t really comment too much on service under high customer volume because we went pretty late on a Monday night, so it was almost empty, but I’d probably go back.

Love this place!!! I come here all the time. Excellent sushi bar, and the chefs are awesome. They have a pretty good selection of beers and wines. The all you can eat menu is nicely priced. I recommend this place for sushi. They also have other items on the menu for the ones who don’t like sushi.

So I’m updating my review and giving the business 4 stars instead of my initial three stars. I come to this place every two weeks and the owner knows me, my order and is very very nice. The business is very clean and the business is usually quiet. The service is still fast and the food is always good. I love this place and I’m going to keep coming back.

I’ve been coming to this place since it first open few years back and recently visited this place for lunch today. Alvin was my chef today, I had never met him until today. Pretty cool guy took care of what I wanted to eat in a good timely manner and the sushi was also fresh! Even tho my favorite sushi spots are Miyagi Sushi in SB and crazy mikes in Covina. This place still satisfies the sushi craving when I don’t have time to hit up my other spots. Ill keep coming here since it’s the closest sushi joint to my house.
