Ordered two times so far this year and couldn’t be happier!

I was on my way to a wake in Revere, and realized I forgot to order the flowers. I know they’re very close to the funeral home, but still did not expect them to be there within an hour. The flowers got there before we did, and were strikingly more beautiful than most of the arrangements there.

I ordered flowers from a third party online vendor and they got my address wrong. Gene’s shop was the local florist who took the order and promptly delivered my flowers but, because the third part vendor relayed the wrong address, my boyfriend never received the order. I called Gene in a panic long after his shop had already closed on a Saturday, the flowers were for our anniversary and because I was out of town for this very special day, it was SO important to me that my love received the flowers. Despite the fact that Gene was already closed for hours, and he clearly would have to eat the cost of the first order that was incorrectly relayed to his shop… Gene pulled an arrangement from his cooler and personally delivered the flowers for me. I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH, GENE! This was such an important day for me and my precious other-​half and, what could have ended in a disaster, turned out to be a DAY SAVED by GENE and his fine establishment. The flowers were gorgeous and the experience tear jerking. From now on, I will order directly from Gene. THANK YOU AGAIN! I shall recommend you to all of my friends and family!

I was really hoping this place lived up to the reviews. Maybe bc it was VDay or maybe bc i ordered over the phone instead of in person. Whenever I get flowers, i expect the things:
1. Great, healthy looking, long-​lasting flowers.
2. A beautiful, thoughtful arrangement.
3. The ability to interpret my rambling wishes. After all, I’m just concerned about the feelings these flowers convey.
#1 is an expectation of any florist and it seems like many of the reviews here gives this place high remarks. I’ve only had the flowers a day so can’t comment on how long they last. However, one of the very first comments my gf said when she saw these was that some of the roses looked like they were already wilting. Boo. Not what i wanted.
#2 is usually what i pay a premium for. This was a $ 100 bouquet. I think that’s a pretty penny and I’ve had some amazing arrangements for that. The bouquet I got was just lazy. All the lillies were shifted to one side. The roses were bunched in certain places. Just a huge letdown. That’s usually what i get from the supermarket.
#3 is what usually separates the great florists from the mediocre. I want to just trust them to convey what i can only hope to convey with amateur ramblings of what i want. I asked for about 6 roses, the pink kind, intermixed with lilies and other flowers. I just think a predominantly all roses bouquet is so boring, especially the red ones. Well, I got 14 red roses with a few lillies. Ugh.
Anyways. Maybe it was bc it was VDay. But how they handle busy times separate the great 5 star businesses from the mediocre.

This guy does amazing work! Prices are reasonable and the flowers are always absolutely beautiful. I have purchased many arrangements for a number of different events. Time and time again, everyone who sees his work asks me for his contact info.

I bought my girlfriend flowers for valentines day and they are just starting to wilt. I dont know what kind of roses these were but I will never buy roses from anywhere else again. My girlfriend having a reminder of valentines day 10 days later gets me major brownie points. Plus the guy at the shop was super nice. I don’t know a whole lot about flowers but he helped me pick something out that she really loved.

Gene and the whole team at flower gallery have been my go-​to place for years. My boyfriend is a revere boy and even though we have since moved out of the area he still gets all of my flowers through here. My valentines roses always last weeks and smell AMAZING! He did our wedding last year and I cannot recommend him enough. People are still raving about how beautiful and vibrant my August flowers were. Check them out on wedding wire, these guys are great!
