Born on a farm in Alexandria Virginia. Educated at UC Berkeley. Married Virginia Ann Payne on August 25, 1962. Three Children and six Grandchildren. Lives and works in Reston, Va.
Entered the Life Insurance Business in 1966 after 10 years in the U.S.Navy.
Past President of the Northern Va Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers, Past President of the Northern Va General Agents and Managers Association, Past President of the Va Association of Insurance and Financial advisers, Past president of the Association of Health Underwriters, Past Trustee of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers.
30 year and Life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
Inducted into the Virginia Insurance Hall of Fame in 1996.
Earned his Chartered Life Underwriter CLU designation in 1975 and his Certified Senior Adviser Designation in 1996.
Member of The National Association of Health Underwriters, DAV and VFW.
