Target

My review is for the Pharmacy and not the store itself, which I would gladly shop at. My experience was subpar following a recent prescription fill. While waiting for my prescription I observed one of the pharmacists opening up my prescription and dumping into their hand to verify everything was in order. Though this may be standard the fact that their hands were ungloved and this was done in between whatever computers, registers everyone else touches. I asked the technician if this was standard practice which she arrogantly responded yes. The unsanitary way my prescription was handled didn’t really sink in until after I left. I will not be going back to the pharmacy and will make sure to see if this is common practice elsewhere.

this is specific to the pharmacy — the switch to CVS is bad for consumers/​customers. Some of the previous staff members are stiil there and are great — Gary, Kristen. Some of the newer members of the staff including a particular pharmacist have no business dealing with the public.0 skills in speaking with customers — and should be gone.
Walmart here I come —

was shuffled between 3 different registers before walking out. tons of employees flitting around aimlessly, watching customers get frustrated by the lack of open lanes. therein lies the perpetual crux of why this store sucks so hard: 30 lanes, only 2 open, lines to prove it. I get that working at target is terrible, but don’t take your personal ills out on strangers shopping in your store.

Overview: Chain store selling pretty much everything you could need for your everyday life.
I’m a pretty big fan of Target in general and this store is pretty much everything I’d expect. My boyfriend and I usually stop in every couple of weeks or so to pick up snacks for work. They have what I’m looking for (and I like those scanners they have around the store to check prices if you’re unsure), the staff is friendly enough (not that I interact with them very much outside of checking out and even then I usually opt for self-​checkout), the store seems clean enough.
One slight disappointment is that the book section (I was looking specifically for books aimed at elementary-​aged kids) seems a bit smaller than I’d like. Not sure if it’s smaller compared to other Targets or if the book sections at all Targets are downsizing, which is not a complete surprise.
There is a sizeable parking lot outside and I’ve never had trouble finding a spot.
Bottom line: I’m always looking for an excuse to visit Target, so I know I’ll be back. Just a matter of when. Maybe tomorrow.

I have lived in many cities over the last few years, and I have visited multiple targets. This place is actually decent. I wish it was a super target, but that’s okay. Clean store with good hours. Parking is plentiful and it is never that crowded.
This place has everything you want, plus a small selection of food. The food is decent, but they do seem to run out of fruit pretty quickly. I have tried to pick up nursery water for the baby, and for some reason it is never available. I’m not sure it’s not available, or they just don’t care to re-​stock. I have asked them several times, but they say it’s gone… but then the next day it’s there. I just think the employees are lazy at times.
Check out is easy and there are plenty of open registers. The cashiers do wait at the front of the line inviting you to check out if they aren’t helping anybody. I really like that. Self check out also works great and I have had no issues with it.
I have picked up a few online orders there, and it is really not that quick. That is something they should work on.
Overall, good experience. I will be back. probably too often. I will be switching over to their pharmacy in the future, and will update my review.

I usually love shopping at this target. But lately it’s been less than a relaxed experience. The last time I was there was yesterday my boyfriend and I went in for two thing-​now keep in mind we got a cart because it was just easier than to carry them-​we got a pack of Desani water and a large bottle of detergent. Just that. We didn’t walk around we just grabbed what we needed and we headed towards the self check out section. Now I don’t know if the lady who works there was bored or if this is the new protocol at target, but as soon as we get close to the self check out register she LITERALLY stood beside my bf and I. Like the way people who are there together stand-​yeah that close. Anyways I asked if anything was wrong and she didn’t answer she just stood there and then started to walk around us looking at the cart to make sure that we didn’t have anything else I guess? But we were like whatever doesn’t matter so we just decided to scan the water and put in back on the cart since you know it can’t for in a bag and we pressed the «I don’t want to bag this item» button and we proceeded to scan the detergent and we did bag that and before we could even reach for the button to pay she comes back and walks up to us and presses the button to pay. There was no excuse me or anything. Now by this time I’m getting kinda pissy because we’re not doing anything were just minding our own business and I’m taking my wallet out to pay (I’m paying cash) and again I ask if there’s something wrong and she says «oh what’re you going to pay with that’s a lot of cash you have there» so AGAIN she ignores me so again I ask and she doesn’t answer so I just said «excuse me I need to pay» and she moves a little bit to the left but still watching us like we’re about to leave without paying. And not only that but she basically followed us out the door. I have NEVER been so annoyed at someone. EVER. We have never stolen anything from anywhere. All we wanted to do was to do our thing pay for the things we needed and be on our way. I don’t know if it was because I was wearing a fluffy coat and she thought I’d steal the shitty gum they have there or if us being the only people at the self check out was the reason that she was all up in our business but I’m definitely not going back for a while. Which kinda sucks because we love going to target. But whatever. They wanna treat us like we’re gonna steal something then we won’t go there at all. I have decided to transfer my prescriptions to cvs as well. So good job lady at target you just lost a customer

Great store always clean well stocked and they have good service if they had a few more checkers that would be beneficial but overall it’s a great story

Now they have self checkout which is pretty cool. One of the best target stores in my book.

There are two ways to check out: cashier or self check. Available cashiers are usually found at the entrances to their lanes. Take advantage of this.
I’ve gone through the self-​check twice, both times the register wigged out. The first time they had me use a different unit and they reset the one I had been on. The second time I had gotten as far as swiping my card when the machine froze. They couldn’t get it fixed or tell me if my transaction went through (it hadn’t), so I had to go to customer service to get it sorted out and pay. Those things have been at this location long enough to have bugs worked out.
The staff is always super friendly and the location is as convenient as any other Target.

Long lines– watch out for self-​checkout. It’s new and definitely has a lot of bugs. I went there on a Friday afternoon because checkout lanes were SO long. It struggled with my mobile coupon and when the associate tried to help, she voided my entire transaction! I ended up walking out because I didn’t have time for it be rung up again. The associates were nice, but had no idea how to work it or get my coupons back.

Not all Targets are created equal. This rating is based on my experience with customer service and returning items. So my wedding registry is through Target. A sweet friend of mine who lives several states away had ordered a fragile item online and had it shipped to my house. Unfortunately when it arrived (it was a serving plate btw). I was broken. The online packing people failed to adequately put any reasonable cushioning materials in the box before sending it off into the wilds of the postal service. Seriously it was only packed with those big bubble air things, they sort of remind me of plastic bags inflated as balloons. No bubble wrap or anything of that sort. Ok kind of a drag I need to return but I head to target.
Thankfully there wasn’t a line at customer service so I tell the lady some one had bought this for us on our registry, and it arrived broken as she could clearly see. Well instead of offering me a store credit or exchange she credits the merchandise back to my friend’s card before I could even stop her. So now, I need to notify my friend that she’s probably going to see a credit from target on her next CC statement, and it was returned not because we didn’t like it but because it sadly arrived broken.
Thanks Target for now forcing me to try and explain this to my friend. I would have gladly taken an exchange or store credit on the $ 15 item…

Decent Target location. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful and you can generally find what you went in for. Their home goods section is a little low on inventory sometimes and I get frustrated that I end up having to order it online, which isn’t the easiest experience either. I would recommend management realizing the population in this area is increasing therefore they should probably looking into adding more stock of items to acclimate.

I like this store. I have had a lot of interactions with so many of the staff. Generally speaking, all of the staff is really good to extraordinary. I had one truly horrible experience with a barista at the Starbucks here and I Unilocaled about it. Unilocal removed that review. Fine with me. I don’t think that person works here anymore anyway.
In 6 months to a year, I may make this a 5 star review assuming I have zero bad experiences in that time.

4 stars goes to the Starbucks barista lady. She’s really nice and she makes the best drinks ever!!! Never disappointed when I come here on Tuesday!

Great service at the pharmacy. Julia leads her team by example. Picked up an Rx order and got my flu shot. Not much of a wait either. This department has upgraded staff. Other good news is that the credit card terminals have been changed.
I do have one complaint: I’d like to be able to see what’s on the Rx label. Shrinking the fonts on prescription bottle labels is not helpful.

It’s a super messy store and the staff are college kids only. Nothing against college kids but all of them are very untrained, clueless and not helpful. For this I blame the management.
Also they will ask you 5 million times at check out if you want the Target card.
I said no thank you several times before the lady left me alone.
What the heck?
I usually enjoy Target, but no one can ever help me out when I’m looking for things and everything is always so unorganized. Then being asked a hundred times if I want the Target card makes me feel super uncomfortable. I really really hated that.
In addition I called them once about an item I was looking for. I was passed on five times (!!) and put on hold for about 20 minutes. I finally hung up and decided to get the item somewhere else.
Too bad, since I live next door and would love to shop at Target. But will not as long as I they don’t improve.

I frequent this Target often since it’s in my neck of the woods, and it is among my favorites. Here’s why:
* Starbucks in the front of the store. Any trip to Target is made better with a latte.
* Grocery section. Seriously, between Trader Joe’s and Target, I rarely go to the regular market anymore. The Target Market Pantry brand is great quality, and there’s a nice selection all around. Skip the fruit and produce — it’s never great.
* Clearance end-​caps and kid’s clothing clearance. Always good deals to be found!
Stop by the $ 1 Zone for seasonal fun — books for kids, little gifts, mini-​treats.

I know there’s a meme floating around that’s along the lines of «Target, where you pay a little more so you don’t have to go to Walmart.» So true!
I’m pretty pleased with this Target. Women’s clothing here is actually fashionable and nice. It’s a bit expensive if there isn’t a sale though. I just paid $ 29.99 for a two tone maxi dress, but it was too cute not to get.
Anyway, if you couldn’t tell I like clothes… And what’s great about Target is their red card. You can get a card that ties into your checking account NOT a credit card. You get 5% off every purchase.

This Target is convenient and easy to access from the parkway and sunset hills. It is usually clean and well stocked. I have noticed the associates here are not as friendly as they are in Fairlakes. Not that anyone has been rude or anything; it’s just a noticeably different experience.

I shop at this location at least once a week. The grocery department at this location is key, I can always find snacks and drinks on the cheap. The staff is helpful and the place is usually clean. The Starbucks inside is a big plus as well.
