I am giving this location two stars because of today’s experience. My husband and I are coffee and tea lovers. Usually, on weekday mornings to early afternoon there’s a guy that makes the perfect coffee you order every time. Very consistent with all of their coffee selections. He and a few other baristas are pretty fast with their services and even with a long long line of customers waiting, whatever you order will be ready the way you’d like. But!!! When I went during late afternoon or sometime around 5:30−6pm on a week day… there’s a barista he either doesn’t know how to make a simple latte or just plain lazy! Today the store closes at 9:00pm…the store was empty with just a couple of customers sitting around, no one at the line to order any drinks. Just me. I ordered London Fog tea Latte iced! Latte!!! I wait for my drink… about 5 minutes of wait I get my drink… A plain freshly brewed London fog tea… iced… Not a latte! Just regular iced tea! I asked for London fog tea LATTE! Iced! Barista hands me the iced tea and says here’s your latte. Uhhhh seriously, does it look like latte to you? I asked him, so do I put in my own sweetener and milk into this tea? He looks at me all confused. A few seconds later, he did ask to remake but by then I’m already upset, so I just left the store. Threw away the iced tea in the trash. I don’t care what hours of the day and how slow the store is… please train the baristas or hire a baristas that makes proper beverages Starbucks!

Service was way to slow bc the lady was just talking the whole time. Coffee was disgustingly burnt, couldn’t even enjoy the blond roast with caramel. I had to throw it away. Needless to say I’m never going to any Starbucks again! The quality has drastically declined in the past few months at every location in the Reston area. I’ll wait in the ridiculous line for Dunkin Donuts.

conveniently located near Reston Town Center right next to Best Buy(almost every shopping center in this area has starbucks). I come to this location once or twice a week during the day. Everyone seems very friendly, especially the older lady at the cash register(thumbs up!) and waiting time is not bad at all. They do get busy through out the day on weekdays, but not sure about the weekend. They have never messed up my order and overall its pretty standard. However I do like the fact this location is connected to the container store so you can walk around before, after or with a drink. Lotsssss of parking spots available.

This is better than your average Starbucks. The food is about the average for Starbucks standards, but the baristas are so nice. No matter how busy, they always have a conversation with you while making the food/drinks. I would point out one particularly good barista, but there is a problem there. they are all AMAZING! They also have really comfortable chairs, and a nice atmosphere.

I was there with friends and we got frappuccinos. However, Ben was in a negative mood. He was complaining about being over-educated and under-paid. The drinks were ok. but the attitude of the barista was not that great.

I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks solely because I think little coffeeshops are just so much better, but we stopped here out of necessity to do some work before our next event, and I am pleasantly surprised with this place. It’s more spacious than I thought, with a big table for people to work, smaller tables in the back for one or two people to use, and comfortable seats. This finding also came right after we had stopped at the Starbucks in Reston Town Center, which is NOT study friendly – there are only three seats crammed up near the windows. Although the Reston Town Center one does have outdoor seating, so I guess if it’s a nice day you could work outside(but WHY). Gluten-free options: nothing in the bakery(there never is…), but there were packaged rice krispy treats, KIND bars, and popcorn and potato chips. All pretty expensive, as expected — the KIND bar was $ 2 and the popcorn was $ 1.25. But better options than I’ve seen at other Starbucks locations. Bottom Line: If you’re in Reston and need to get some work done, this place is comfortable enough to do so.

Standard Starbucks. The line can be long and the customers can be borderline annoying on weekends, but the staff are welcoming and friendly. They know me by name and say hello every time I come through. I order only iced coffee so I can’t comment on the accuracy of the other drink making skills.

I love 95% of the staff. However, there is one woman, I’m not going to name her, but if you go there enough you’ll know who I’m talking about, who has to be the densest Starbucks employee I’ve ever encountered. It almost never fails that I’ll have to repeat my order to her multiple times, even though it’s just a regular coffee. That said, here’s what makes this place fantastic. Everyone else on the staff knows she’s the weak link(you can just tell they know), and they all flurry around her compensating. So, everyone else makes you feel welcome and taken care of(and makes sure your order is right) while that one woman sits on the register trying to find the right button for, oh what was that again? A grande coffee? Did you say grande or venti? Venti? Oh, I’m sorry grande. A grande coffee. Did I get that right? — that’s how it always goes with her. Butt seriously everyone else is perfect.

My new neighborhood Starbucks: Ahhh… I love the consistency of service, as each barista makes my drink exactly the same way. I like the smiles from the folks at the counter and that they still ask your name at this location I really love the pastries on weekend mornings and how the smell from the ovens just permeates the small space. The only thing I wish different is the shape of the place. It is long and narrow– the kind of place where a guy with a shotgun could do some real damage – with little room at the back where all the anxious caffeine addicts gather to await their orders.

I’m a regular here so I know who to expect and when. The people are always friendly, competent, and make super delicious drinks. The music is always the right volume and, when it gets busy(like on a Saturday or Sunday morning), they have a good system of ringing up people and«calling bar». Love this Starbucks! It’s awesome.

I’ve been impressed at the consistency of service for this location. There are no shortage of SBux in Reston and this is the one I frequent most often for getting my order right(and it tasting the same) every time.

I wish they would repeat the order to you to make sure they got it right… I’ve ordered grande size but got tall size, I didn’t want whip on my drink but got whip…
