History

Established in 2011.

At Reston Serenity Smiles we are excited to offer our patients some unique opportunities. First of all you can choose to have all of your procedures done under intravenous sedation. This will allow you to be completely relaxed and free of anxiety while we provide state of the art dentistry for you. In addition, we bring a full scope of dentistry by bringing specialists to our office. If you need a dental implant, root canal or other type of surgeries it will all be done in the our office so you do not need to travel back and forth between offices.

Hoda K.

Business Owner

Hoda Kazemifar, DMD is a native of Northern Virginia and is excited for the opportunity to serve all the dental needs of her fellow Virginia residents. After receiving her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and furthering her post graduate studies at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Kazemifar received her dental professional degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two daughters.

Dr. Kazemifar is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society.

She holds certification in Invisalign treatment and Zoom in office whitening procedures. Dr. Kazemifar especially enjoys working on cosmetic cases and has completed extensive training in veneers, cosmetic bonding, and dental implant restorations.

About a year ago I was referred to Reston Serenity Smiles by one of my clients after going through a bad experience with another dentist. Dr. K was as great as expected and her team was exceptional. Now my wife is a patient and my little boy will be one day once he is old enough.

Most people dread going to the dentist. And I used to also… until I moved to Reston in 2012 and found Dr. K. and her terrific team at Reston Serenity Smiles.
A calming and clean office atmosphere (serenity) combined with state-​of-​the-​art dental equipment assures me that my teeth are in «good hands.» The dental technicians and office staff (Mehrnoosh, Melissa, Irina, Priscilla and Hillary) are friendly, down-​to-​earth, and do a stellar job of making me feel warm, welcome and comfortable… always with a smile on their faces.
Dr. K is a gem. Smart, funny, competent, caring, and compassionate, she is the epitome of what health-​care providers should aspire to be.
Although we don’t talk much (my mouth is open and filled with dental instruments for most of the visit) they do a terrific job explaining my dental procedures (X-​rays, cleaning, importance of flossing) in easy-​to-​understand language, always motivating me to maintain good oral care.
I still can’t say I enjoy going to the dentist. But I can say I enjoy going to Dr. K and her team at Reston Serenity Smiles. Check them out!

I recently had a cleaning and tend to be a skiddish patient. Regina the hygenist was wonderful and made me feel right at ease. The equipment that she used was the latest and greatest and there was no friction with polishing/​grinding and such. They use a stream of water that takes all of the plaque from your teeth. I highly recommend this dental practice. They are all friendly and super efficient with the business utilizing great appointment reminder techniques too.

Fantastic place! I have had a lot bad experiences with dentists. I had sworn them off until I came here to fix a broken tooth. I will now continue coming back. The staff is super friendly and DR. Hoda is very gentile. They explain procedures and cost before doing anything and have you sign off on it to ensure that you understand. Very honest, great business. Plus you can watch cartoons while they work on you :)

Knowing that I had been remiss in my routine dental visits, I was expecting the worst. I was pleasantly surprised that I received no lecture, but rather kind suggestions and support for improving my dental health.
The necessary procedures included deep cleaning under the gum line and replacement of three aging fillings. While it took four visits to complete, Dr Kaz and her staff were very concerned for my comfort and the overall aesthetics of the replacement fillings.
All restoration has been completed and I am extremely satisfied with the results.

Wonderful people! Very professional, gentle and kind. Modern atmosphere and very responsive practice. All of my questions were answered immediately. My wife and I had been driving all the way to DC for years, when all we had to do was look around the corner from our home, right in Reston, Virginia, across Reston Parkway from the Reston Town Center. Great location, available free parking, super friendly staff… Why go anywhere else!

I turned to this dentist because i received a coupon for $ 85 exam/​xrays. I was completely taken advantage of, as the false advertising cost me instead well over $ 200 before I even had anything done! Dishonest and shameful practice. Instead of helping a patient in pain they just try to get as much money as possible and really do not care about the patient. AVOID at all cost!

I really do not like going to the dentist but Dr K drilled and filled my cavities as I watched a movie in her upscale, posh space a minute from my Reston Town Center office. I couldn’t believe other dentists I have seen in Reston stuck things in my mouth to lecture me, so I couldn’t respond, they put a sour taste in my mouth. Dr. K is a well sized practice, not a huge place where they treat me like a mouth was a peach not a pin cushion

Very Proffessional, very clean, very friendly, appointments are on time and I don’t get nervous before coming to this practice! My 10 year old and I have been in several times and they are especially great with children! They make my teeth look and feel amazing and the results last longer than my last dentist, whom I used for 15 years. I highly recommend Serenity Smiles!
