I’ve been seeing Dr. Long for a long time as has my family. I move around a lot so have had the opportunity to see a lot of other primary care doctors as well in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, etc. Dr. Long by far takes the most interest to go over your situation, really understand it, and get to what he can do to help.

Think twice before going to this doctor.
During the Initial meeting he spent ten minutes minimum telling me how he is never on time and I shouldn’t expect any timely responses to calls. He was being so thorough with his negative expectations I had to stop him and ask if he really even wanted me as a patient.
The one and only time I was sick when he «was my doctor» I tried 6 times to get through to his office with no success, they never answer the phone and do not have an answering service.
For a routine physical they made me book 6 months is advance, then the day I showed up they told me they don’t take my insurance anymore and he COULDN’T SEE ME. They then said the only way he could see me is to pay out of pocket but I WASN’T ALLOWED TO SUBMIT TO MY INSURANCE (um, what about out of network reimbursement??). I was even considering paying since I had waited 6 months, but then they wouldn’t even tell me how much it would cost!!!
The doctor did follow up to apologize, but too little too late. I have now had an 8 month relationship with a doctor who obviously does not care about my needs at all.
Worst doctor’s office experience ever!
