This place. I am speechless. The staff is so friendly and the Chiropractor healed my migraines. I highly recommend it.

Dr Welch is awesome and so is her staff. The environment is comfortable and relaxing. Not a fan of going, but I feel so much better afterward! Highly recommend this practice. The he also have massage therapy that I’m trying next.

Those of us old enough to frequently need Chiropractors now should remember the days when the mentality was «chiroquacktor» whenever speaking of a medical professional who used therapy and alternative medicine to restore health. I’m glad to see society’s mentality has changed over the years and believe it comes as a direct result of professionals like Dr. Carrie Welch.
I have been to a few chiropractors throughout the years and admittedly my visits in years past were less frequent because medical plans didn’t cover any of the cost. I made appointments when I really «had» to go, yeah, back in the 90’s. This past year I started visiting CC after a huge flare up on my left shoulder that wouldn’t go away. Yup, you got it… it was my own doing at the gym.
Anyway, Dr. Welch had me in for the initial consultation and although the office was hopping with patients (not literally) she was focused, personable and created a thorough plan on how she could remove the issues in my shoulder. She started aggressively with three sessions a week and each visit re-​evaluated the plan. Thankfully, the pain subsided quickly and after two weeks the session frequency changed to meet the need.
One of the many reasons I enjoy her office is this treatment that everyone receives before seeing Dr. Welch; it’s called e-​stim. E-​stim sends tiny electric pulses through your back/​body at a comfortable pace. You get a few electrode pads on your pack and lay there for 10 – 15 minutes in pure relaxation! Soothing music plays and I (you would too) usually end up in la-​la land and almost pass out because I am COMPLETELY relaxed!
Huge kudos to Dr. Welch for knowing her profession and allowing her customers to benefit from her skill and approach to healing the body! I’m always a happy and comfortable customer at Comfort Chiropractic!

Staff here is very nice and cheerful. I look forward to my visits with Dr. Welch. She is always smiling and humming a tune! Not only do I feel better physically after an adjustment, but I feel like smiling and humming also. The adjustments are effective and she is honest as far as what she can do and what I need to do. I highly recommend this practice!

I am such a fan of this practice. Comfort Chiropractic was originally recommended to me by another patient. I had increasingly debilitating pain in my lower back. After three visits, Dr. Welch sat me down and told me what was happening was beyond her ability — that I needed to see a spinal orthopedist. She also referred me to someone — and got me in with him immediately. Dr. Welch’s decisive and ethical actions most likely saved me from some level of paralysis, as I had an emergency discectomy a week later.

Dr. Welch is fantastic! Being a personal trainer, I am super picky about who I will let work on my body. Dr. Welch and her staff are super friendly and caring and I always feel so good when I leave her office. In the past I was not a fan of chiropractic — it scared me, but Dr. Welch really knows what she is doing and she knows how to «fix» me. I am so glad I found her.

Got my very first chiropractic treatment and boy oh boy I feel like a new person Thanks to Dr. Carrie Welch. She is an amazing doctor with friendly staff. Truly desire to help patients and see them get well. I would totally recommend her.

I was in a car accident several years ago, and did a year of physical therapy. After a year of physical therapy, I was never back to normal and was extremely sad thinking I’d be in pain forever. A friend suggested trying a chiropractor and I had serious doubts. However, I tried and felt better after each appointment. However, when Dr. Welch says you should do XYZ, you should do it. At first, I was slacking off and not keeping appointments, and boy, did I feel the pain. After two years of treatment with Dr. Welch, I am pleased to say I am back to normal without any more shoulder/​neck/​hip pain. I have not had to return to her practice as I’ve been feeling great! I know two years sounds like a lot, but a year of physical therapy that did nothing was much worse as it was more expensive and time consuming. Dr. Welch really cares about her patients. When I had severe tendinitis and my hand became hot to the touch and swollen, she stayed late past her closing time to treat me the same day, and when it flared up later that evening, she checked in and provided advice. She truly cares and knows her stuff. She can get backed up in the waiting room, but now that Dr. Raby is there, there are more appointments. Their office staff is extremely professional and helpful. They really do try to work within your schedule and are accommodating. Everyone is so friendly and don’t make you feel like you’re the one bothering them, which is common in the DC area. I highly recommend Dr. Welch and if an issue were to flare up again, now, after over a year of not seeing her, I would not hesitate to return. They take insurance and credit cards.

I highly recommend receiving care from Dr. Welch and her practice! If you’ve been searching for a chiropractor and feel overwhelmed by all the choices around this area, you can stop searching now! My husband and I were in a bad car accident (front and rear impact), both of us suffered from severe back pain. During the first week, my back pain rating was 9 out of 10 (worst) and now, by the end of week 2, it’s a «0».
Dr. Welch not only treated my pain from the car accident but she also treated the typical shoulder and neck pain that I just lived with — that’s gone too — thank you! She is professional, personable, ethical and knowledgeable. I can’t believe how improved my quality of life is. I’ve already spread the word about Dr. Welch to friends and coworkers and I’m planning to continue coming for maintenance therapy, so this is what it feels like to live pain-​free — highly recommend Comfort Chiropractic!
**3 month update: still living pain-​free, except for those sleep deprived nights which is my own fault. I highly recommend Dr. Welch and her practice to all those living with short or long-​term pain — you don’t have to!

Just left my first appointment and have to say that out of the many chiropractors I’ve been to in my life (I started young) Dr. Welch is the best.
I know it is scary to have someone twist and crack and pop your spine in ways you feel that are abnormal so if you are wary of going to a chiro but have pain that won’t go away then you should definitely see her — I promise you have nothing to fear you are in great care. Dr. Welch talks you through it all and is very thorough. I have been to chiro’s before where you walk in and they spend 5 minutes with you and then start cracking away… not Dr. Welch she sits with you, talks about your health history, then comes up with her plan for treatment.
Nothing was rushed about this appointment and I felt like I was their only patient when I clearly wasn’t (saw at least 7 other patients come in) which is great. The hours are so accommodating to the DC commuters and when I called this morning in severe pain Cynthia squeezed me in tonight, her kindness and customer service is superb.
Overall I am so happy to have found this practice. Dr Welch is so genuine and a true professional!

I’ve now visited twice, and i’ve been really impressed with both doctors at this location. I saw Dr. Raby first, and she spent a LOT of time with me, talking through my various problems. I have not felt rushed, and have felt very comfortable talking to both doctors. This was my first visit to a chiropractor, and Drs. Raby and Welch have sold me. I’m so happy this office was recommended to me, and would recommend them to anyone.

I recently had to leave Sana Chiropractic due to a change in their insurance policy (so sad!). I was very careful in selecting a new Chiropractor because Dr. Marconi had been so great and I wanted to ensure I got the best service out there. I definitely found it at Comfort Chiropractic — Dr Welch and Dr Raby are amazing. I’ve only seen Dr Welch a few times, and she’s definitely been great. However, I see Dr Raby the most often for general maintenance on my back. She is careful, takes her time, and makes sure to listen to my concerns about my problem areas. She even does research on her own time and comes back to me with solutions for different exercises I can try out to ease my pain. I spend about 45 minutes in the office for each session for just plain maintenance, which attests to how much time and consideration they spend on each patient. I never feel rushed, and I definitely feel like a valued patient here even though I only come in for maintenance.
Also as a bonus their office is very modern, clean, and relaxing!
