Austin-​Weston is the premier cosmetic surgery center serving all of Northern Virginia, Maryland and the DC Metro area. The practice was founded in 1978 by Dr. Harvey Austin, who was joined in 1987 by Dr. Weston, followed by Dr. Sigal in 1994, Dr. Poindexter in 1998 and Dr. Knotts in 2013.

Dr. Austin has since retired, but the remaining four surgeons have fostered a reputation for excellence and are recognized nationally and internationally for innovation, honesty and results. All four doctors perform almost exclusively cosmetic surgery. While most plastic surgeons perform some cosmetic surgery but also have a reconstructive surgery practice, the surgeons at Austin-​Weston have chosen to focus all their attention and specialize in cosmetic surgery. This distinction of an entire practice committed to cosmetic plastic surgery has earned the doctors at Austin-​Weston a national reputation. They are regular invitees to speak and lecture other practicing plastic surgeons about the techniques and experiences they have developed over many years in practice.
