History

Established in 2005.

Subito Strings offers a variety of ensembles, including String Quartet, String Trio, Violin and Cello Duo, and Solo Classical Guitar. Our players are all career musicians, and hold advanced degrees from prestigious music schools and conservatories across the country, including Northwestern University, the University of Southern California, The Colburn School, and The Juilliard School. As dedicated musicians, we pride ourselves on the quality of our performances and on our reliability; our players will arrive 30 – 60 minutes prior to your scheduled event. Our ensembles perform at venues in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and San Diego.

Meet the Business Owner

Rebecca C.

Business Owner

Rebecca recently completed her Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School, and is currently a freelance violinist who performs with orchestras throughout Southern California including Pasadena Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, and Riverside Philharmonic. Recently, she has toured South America with a small chamber orchestra performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Rebecca has a passion for playing both orchestral and chamber music. She has performed under the baton of many influential conductors including Valery Gergiev, James Levine, Joseph Silverstein, and Alexander Lasarev, and has received chamber music instruction from Jerome Lowenthal, members of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and The Pacific Quartet.

Outside of the concert hall, she records for television and film and has appeared on the hit TV shows, «Chuck» (NBC) and «How I Met Your Mother» (CBS).
