I have lived here for years with shoe city being right around the corner, it was a fav spot of mine many years ago. I am not sure if management has changed completely but it has gone wayyyyyyy down hill. My faince and I came in two weeks ago looking for a pair of shoes for him. We walked in and took a look around and then went to look at the sale section outside. The Indian woman working there said goodbye to us and looked/stared at our feet as she said it while we walked out. We told her we were coming right back. So, we did and my fiancé went to look and try on shoes without the help of anyone. I looked at some more shoes for sale and that same woman just stood a few feet away from my fiancé and stared. She did not offer help to him, just creepily stared. The other 2 employees also did not offer help, instead they stood chatting about personal issues and massaged each others backs. My fiancé went to ask a question about a shoe size and he had to re-ask because they couldn’t hear over their«personal time». I looked at him and said, this place blows… let’s get out of here. We left and went to Macys, which actually had far better prices than that place.

Great shoe selection and affordable prices, I do wish we could use the back door to enter the property because it is kind of a pain to go all the way to the front but like I said the prices are good and the selection is decent. The staff is very friendly but not helpful if you don’t ask…

Drive by here a few times so stopped to check out what they have and at what prices. Not impressed because they didn’t have a big selection and prices seemed high to me. Staff was kind of helpful but smiling every now and again would help

Good shoe selection and a convenient location for Van Nuys shoppers.
