The pizza is very good. The home made crust was perfectly chewy and flavorful. Aushak was unique and very flavorful. Beef kebab had the right amount of spices. Very friendly service and will definitely try the other items in the menu.

I decided to try here after Unilocal reviews. I couldn’t get what was special about that place. My biggest concern is about their cleanliness. The place is very dirty, which bothered me a lot while eating there. The baby chair I requested was sticky and got black because of the dirt. I even thought leaving the store but I thought it would be very rude and stayed. The staff was friendly. The gyro meat was very dry, cold and tasteless. It was a bad experience overall.

Been meaning to stop here for years, finally did. The gyros, the only thing I tried, are amazing. The meat is tender, the sauce is flavourful, the bread was warm and soft. Absolutely wonderful. The gentleman who was cooking and serving was incredibly nice as well. Great place, will become a frequent customer.

The best mothers hand food in the valley, also the guy cooks the food well too. The chapli kabob brings tears to my eyes. That’s how good it is. Also the rice is actually fresh not like many other restaurants.

I am half afghani and since I have lived in LA(about 8 years now) I have been deprived of my true soul-food. Today, my bf surprised me with rice, mantu, bourani banjan, rice and side of yogurt! I can’t speak on the actual atmosphere or experience of dining at this restaurant, but omg the food is as just about as good as my Baba jaan’s! I’m so happy that my bf found this place as I will surely be a regular, loyal customer and direct all of my friends to eat here!

Have eaten here a few times now the Food is good and I’m a foodie. They are a bit slow but only 2 employees so depending on what u order and time u go in can take a bit of time. I got the Gyro pita sandwich which to me is big and had tons of meat, and the potatoe bread forget the actual name but it’s so tasty. Got turned on to this place from friends and glad I did. Will be back.

Had this place based off reviews and I wasn’t that impressed with it. food was bland and didn’t taste much like authentic afghan food. We had mantoo, chicken koobideh, beef koobideh and aushak and all was bland. Koobideh was loaded with ginger and was small but wide as was the beef koobideh. Mantoo and aushak lacked salt and flavor and the inside meat was dry and bland. I wouldn’t recommend this place and I wouldn’t come here to order food again. There’s better halal authentic afghan places in the valley and surrounding areas which I’d much rather prefer. 2 stars because the guys who work there are nice but their food needs and can be improved. Save your money and go somewhere else. Definitely no tingle in the taste bud at this joint.

Don’t come here after 4:00 pm or you’re stuck with Gyros… that’s what the guy told me so I ordered my gyro. Lady walks in a few minutes later and the guy says the same thing and right in front of me he makes an exception and makes her the chicken kobeda. That’s pretty lame if you ask me…

Literally the best afghan food I’ve had in all of LA the bolani was perfect, the shoola, palow, mantu… OMG…this is legit, authentic, home cooked afghan food. I’m literally gonna travel every week from the west side of LA to Reseda just for this… the owner is also the nicest, and most hospitable man. Beautiful business. I couldn’t rate this place higher. Get mantu and palow!

Not worth it. Staff is extremely rude and lack in service. Food was dry and not what I was expecting, maybe a temporarily thing. The guy behind the counter has a thick accent and Im not sure if he was having a bad day, but he didnt seem happy. Maybe he shouldnt be working there?

I don’t understand the enthusiasm. Salad was weak, gyros were dry. Service unwelcoming. Price on the tab magically included tax at a rate of 12.5%. Restroom dirty. No thanks.

First time trying Afghani cuisine. GREATSTUFF!!! We wanted to try a bunch of items on the menu, so we did. We ordered the boneless chicken kabob, the aushak, the manto, bulanee and sambosa. They were all fantastic! This place is a little hole in the wall that most people probably have never heard of or tried. They’re missing out. Looking forward to our next visit here.

omg! this place is NOTANYTHING like what I exspected! kyle A was dead on about this place. First off I come in and a family of middle east peolple are staring me down! Mr somebody in suit is sitting at front table with no food but a nasty look at me! then some very heavy man walks past no comment and talks to his«people» and then brings out trays to themwoth rice. So after what seems like if I waited long enough. i’d get up an go to Wendys’s. So I am sitting at table and big belly asks if it’s to go? no fork or knife and he has no idea if I may order a plate. So after another 10 he walks by and I have to motion to him that I am ready. I notice the $ 799 gyro is «with pita and a drink but the higher is $ 8.99 with only rice and no drink. so i order the $ 799 and it says WITHPITA and fries WITHDRINK! then i get the gyro and only fries … finally get him an say where is my pita thinking it will be like a side with garlic paste and then he points at this tiny tiny lettuce filled pita with no meat in it and he says it the sandwitch! they must of has a state ordered mandate against having cucumber dressing cause it was absent and agter a bite i gagged from the dryness! I motioned to him again and mumbled i did not get a drink. so he goes to case and hands me a can. no glass and i did see the group get up and ask and get small plastic cups for the group. super tasteless and smaller than a MEXICAN soft taco was the gyro! only plus is he camr out with my jacket … I wad so upset with my meal I left it on the chair in a rush to leave! SUPERSLOWSNAILSERVICEANDTHEMSOME! NOT A TASYPLACEBUT Ok if you are middle Eastern and long for dry cooked meat, served with zero hostpitallity. Thanks for my jacket but left $ 8.99 and couldnt justify leaving a tip. Waiter nice, but hey, he is suppose to be. Sorry but not at all worth pulling off of Tampa to «give it a try».

great food and the nicest owners you will ever meet. We ordered take out. They offered us hot bread while we waited to pick up our food. I think it was a husband and wife that we met. They were both so friendly and the meal was amazing. You gotta stop in here and try the Gyros some time.
