Precise Home Builders

Steve came to give me an estimate today for a small deck (13×22) and quoted me $ 22,300. I laughed because I thought he was trying to be silly after telling him how badly I’ve been treated by contractors in the past. But no, he sat there with almost a straight face and confirmed that was the real price. Here’s what you did wrong Steve:
1.) receptionist called me asking the creepiest question… she wanted to know if I was going to be alone for the meeting. she asked me 3x to confirm if I was going to be alone or not. After I told her I was going to cancel the appointment unless she explained herself she said «the contractor doesn’t like explaining things twice to couples so is your husband going to be there?» LOL. Guess what, I’m the project manager of the house not him. I’m not a feminist but that was sexist.
2.) After Steve looked at the site we sat down to talk numbers and I asked for an itemized bid. He said «no, that doesn’t really exist» … yes. yes it does. MAJOR red flag people. You always need to know what your paying for. In my case it would have been (3.5k in materials and 18.8k in labor) mind you, I already had the area leveled (hilly area)
3.) He gave me a bid a few moments after he looked at the site. Any contractor that can glance over a site for a few minutes can not give you a remotely accurate bid moments later… I think it’s funny because instead of a flat $ 22 000 he made it $ 22 300…that number probably just ‘sounded’ better to him. He had to jack up his imaginary number by an extra $ 300!
Honestly Steve seemed like a decent guy who has just been doing this for too long. Sometimes when contractors get spoiled and don’t want to do a particular project, they jack the price way up so they don’t have to say ‘no’ to the client. I would have rather been told that my project was too small then have wasted my own time dealing with this company.
On a positive note, I am flattered he thinks that I have that much money

BEWARE! After researching for over a year I chose this contractor. HUGE mistake. After signing the contract my wife and I went with Ronen to pick out our cabinets. The options were very limited if you didn’t like anything they had guess what add another $ 6-​$ 7000 for custom cabinets. Our biggest problem with this company was when work began on rebuilding our kitchen I saw some questionable construction that I immediately brought to their attention. I was told don’t worry it’ll all be fine when they’re finished. Now it’s finished and every mistake I pointed out is still very obvious. If you are okay with the tile backsplash being crooked not one wall they built is square or level than these are your guys. I complained enough and finally got the two owners to come look at the work that their crew had performed. They tried everything to convince me that it wasn’t that bad (How hard is it to make a wall straight) in the end they gave me a small amount of money back but I would’ve rather paid the full amount and got even a decent job. Before hiring them they assured me that their crews had all been with them a very long time. This was a flat out lie. The few that spoke English told us they had just been hired from the parking lot at Home Depot. How disappointing. Now I know why no one wants to hire a contractor to work on their home. I spent a lot of money to argue for two and half months and be stuck with a kitchen full of mistakes. If I had to do it all over I would’ve just kept our old kitchen. The owners couldn’t wait to keep pointing out that they remodeled Rachel Ray’s kitchen but I guarantee you the guys they had doing that job never came to my house. The bottom line is they didn’t run off with my money and not return but the quality of their work was horrible. Do yourself a favor and don’t trust all the positive reviews.

I don’t think we can rave enough about Precise and particularly our contractor, Ronen. We did a complete kitchen gut/​remodel and powder room gut/​remodel. In addition, since we had just purchased the home, we went through Precise for both a complete electrical upgrade and copper pipe plumbing refit. I found Precise after doing a thorough search-​and-​interview process for contractors (I am a researcher by profession). Precise’s prices were very compatible with what the current market was bearing; but what really sold us was the timeline. As I was taking a hiatus from work to oversee the work on the house and the move, it was critical to us that things be done in a timely fashion.
Ronen was extremely professional, patient, and easy to get along with. He made several suggestions that proved to be both cost-​effective and efficient — For instance, utilizing the same electrician and plumber for the work throughout the rest of the house as the kitchen. He suggested that we do our kitchen-​adjacent bar in the same style as the kitchen to make the space seem even larger (and he was right). He also suggested we utilize the same hard wood flooring in the powder room as we were using in the kitchen — Again, the continuity (considering the relatively open floor plan of the downstairs) is beautiful, due to these suggestions.
Precise was timely and informative when it came to billing and scheduling; Ronen was either on site every day or checked in with me if he wasn’t going to be there. I always knew who was due to show up at our home, when, and what work they were scheduled to do. Ronen provided an excellent list of vendors for us to work with regarding flooring, tiling, etc. — but at the same time, when we deviated from that list (i.e., choosing another appliance company), Ronen immediately worked with the company of our choice. Having said that, we were very pleased with the vendors he suggested for the cabinets, backsplash, counters and faucets, in particular. The plumber is also a gem.
The project was finished on time, to the day, it was promised. Hard to believe a full kitchen remodel for a larger kitchen like ours could actually be done in eight weeks, but it was. Furthermore, it was on budget. Precise gave us advance notifications of each of the installments due, and nothing was ever a surprise.
We plan to do more remodeling work on the house within the next few years and will be scheduling that with Precise, and Ronen. Excellent work! Thank you!

During the process of looking for contractors for a kitchen and bathroom remodel, I ran across Precise Home Builders on
. Setting up an estimate was handled promptly and with the utmost professionalism. I dealt directly with Ronen for our project, and it was pleasure. He handled all our questions with patience and professionalism. After giving us a very good estimate (price wise) he followed up with a 3D rendering of what our bathroom and kitchen could look like. This is the type of effort you can expect with Precise. Ultimately, our needs changed through the process, and we ended up hiring a different contractor that was personally recommended to us by a friend. It was such a hard decision because of the effort that Ronen and Precise had shown us. I can’t recommend their work ethic and professionalism enough. If you don’t want to wade through a bunch of dud contractors, just do yourself a favor and call Precise. I will definitely call them in the future if I need work done.

I have to agree whole heartedly with other reviewers — the work that Precise Builders did actually makes me say WOW out loud when I walk into my home. During my first meeting with Moshe, the owner of Precise Home Builders, he listened to my hopes, dreams, wishes and concerns. He was professional, thorough and a pleasure to work with right from the start. I was very afraid of selecting the wrong contractor since it was such a huge investment but I felt confident with Moshe and I couldn’t be happier.
They gutted my kitchen, made beautiful custom cabinets, pulled back a wall, removed the old carpeting and installed gorgeous hard wood floors throughout, installed new baseboards, did some dry wall work, tiled the fireplace and painted the entire condo.
I liked that they assigned a project manager to work with their clients. My project manager was Kelly and she was terrific. If I had any questions or concerns she was always available to speak with. She responded immediately to emails. She did research for me when I needed help and she was with me every step of the way to hold my hand throughout the process.
Moshe and his crew were always extremely professional and such a pleasure to work with. They all take pride in their work which is so refreshing in this day and age. His crew made great suggestions along the way which I really appreciated. There are times when I just didn’t think things through like where to put the light switches or which direction would be better in laying the hardwood floors but his crew worked with me to make the best decisions for my home.
All the work they did was such quality! My kitchen is breathtaking. Mike made my custom cabinets and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted within the space I had. Nothing in my condo was level so installing the cabinets were not easy but he did such a great job you would never know the place was so uneven to begin with. Anastacio installed my floors and they are flawlessly installed. They are stunning! I would say he is a master of his craft. Neeson the electrician was so incredibly helpful with lighting suggestions and his work was perfect. Christian and his painting crew were a pleasure to work with and they did a fantastic job with repairing all my ceiling cracks and painting the entire place.
They showed up every morning ready to work, and they put in a good days work each and every day.
The bid I received from Moshe was fairly priced compared to the other bids I had received. They actually finished ahead of schedule which was amazing!
I would recommend Moshe and his entire team to anyone who is need of a professional contractor who takes pride in his work and works with his clients to create an amazing home. I couldn’t be happier with my selection of a contractor and I look forward with working with Precise Home Builders, Moshe and his team on my next remodel project.

Wow! I will have to agree with previous reviewer Brian.
For my tiny bathroom, I needed a complete gut and remodel. I interviewed over 10 contractors and nobody supplied confidence, trust and experience more than Steve at Precise. Two major questions every client has is 1) were they on time and 2) were they on budget and I can say YES to both. Not only were they on time for project but everyday they worked they were at my house bright and early and they worked very hard… everyday!
A paragraph for the daily hard workers. Not only were they early and diligent workers but they were all very respectful of my house, kind, and neat. From demo to tiling to paint they were all professional. They cleaned up everyday like it was their house (or maybe better… haha)! I had no worries, no issues!

Ok, I can finally write a review since everything is done. We had quite a bit of work done on our house: added one bedroom, one bathroom, expanded/​remodeled our kitchen, removed a wall, new floors throughout.
We interviewed 7 different contractors and we’re happy we went with Moshe, the owner of Precise Home Builders. We felt that we could communicate with him and he has a passion for his work. His pricing is definitely fair. You may find a bid slightly cheaper but you will find higher bids as well. I would say he is mid-​priced, but the quality will be high end.
What you need to know is that our project was ON TIME and ON BUDGET. I’ve heard many horror stories from others but I can safely say that our project is now completely done and there were no major hiccups. The actual construction from demo to finish was PRECISELY 3.5 months.
They passed every city inspection the first time, so I can tell that their work is not only quality but time efficient since they don’t have to re-​do work and then schedule another inspection which would delay the project. The workers pay attention to detail and they were respectful in our home.
To summarize the highlights: on time, on budget, trustworthy, ease of communication, low stress, good honest people to work with, well priced.
Other contractors: do they know what they’re doing? Are they going to increase your costs throughout the project? Will they stay on the timeline?
Special shout out to RONEN. He works for Moshe and is super easy to talk to by phone or email. Numerous questions/​concerns were addressed often within an hour or two.

This is a case of where you pay for what you get. And you may think after your first quote that you’re going to pay too much, but in the end, it’s because they are top notch. Precise Home Builders was professional throughout the entire process. Not only were they exactly on time with 3 bathroom remodel in only 3 weeks, but they knew exactly what they were doing. Everything looks amazing. There were a few minor problems, but they quickly fixed anything we saw as wrong.
Steve is very upfront and communicative. He answers texts and calls fairly quickly. Emails, not so much. They know what they are doing and their team works efficiently. We now love our new bathrooms and are very happy with the results.

Alright, so last time we remodeled our kitchen, this time we remodeled both of our bedrooms.
And again, they WOW me with their work.

This was THE BEST company I could have chosen. I got their name from Angie’s List and when they came to my condo, they had a computer program which showed me what my new kitchen cabinets would look like. They remodeled my kitchen and master bathroom and guest bathroom. They did quality work according to schedule and their staff was easy and wonderful to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful product!
