Hi, my name is Brad Betts and I am the sole operator of Transcend Videography, a fully licensed video production business based in Renton, Washington. I am an alumnus of The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University, and I have a BA in Communication — Broadcast Production. I also have an audio engineering certification from The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences. My specialties are in high definition DSLR camera operating, video editing in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Première Pro & Motion 5. My audio editing skills are utilized in Cubase 7.5 also.

History

Established in 2014.

After a year of freelance camera operating & over 8 years of building my educational foundation, I decided to become a legitimate business and strive for what makes me happy. I believe creating and helping others create, is truly a gift in itself, so this isn’t just another way to make income for me.

Though I am just starting out, I have the skills and know how to make just about anything my clients need. Always growing, always striving to be better, and you will see it in my work!

I specialize in high definition camera operating, video & audio editing and I am also very skilled in creative direction. The experience I have in video production stems from high school, where I began learning how to use cameras, draw storyboards and edit in Final Cut Pro. Once I learned the basics, I moved onto editing sports highlight videos and creating mini– series skits with friends, which really fueled my interest in the profession.

In college I learned more advanced skills in camera operating, editing, lighting, audio & directing. This allowed me to pursue more avenues of production, such as documentaries, television news broadcasting and creating music videos. Today, I am more inspired than ever to continue progressing with my visionary craft. I take on various projects and look at every single one as another opportunity to make something great and memorable for others as well.
