Teriyaki Box

It is my go to place to chicken teriyaki, I wished they added cabbage to the mix. Then, it would get a bit more of a star. I found them on Unilocal.I am going back tonight again since it is too late to cook and for under $ 7, it will work. It is close to Fred Meyer so I can run and grab some groceries and on the way out, pick up my food. I may give it 5 stars, if they made their own teriyaki sauce. The bowl was a bit short of chicken pieces this last time… I will hope it’s normal next time. I did manage to get their at closing around 8:30 p.m. They were scrubbing and cleaning the grills. That is actually a nice scene. I always worry about places that are not cleaned. I really like this place.

I love it here! This is my go to teriyaki place. Here every other week. Place is clean, staff is friendly, portions are massive and super tasty! My fave is chicken teriyaki with extra salad dressing. I’ve tried several teriyaki joints near here and Teriyaki Box is without a doubt the best!

Very satisfied they gave a good portion for the money and not just a few pieces of meat.

My favorite place for fast take out. Serving portions are good sized. Great prices. I probably go there once a week lol

This place was not too bad. Food was delicious although they could have given me more shrimp in my meal since I ordered the shrimp tempura plate. It was mainly vegetable tempura with only 2 strips of shrimp.smh. Also, it wouldn’t hurt to smile when serving customers.

DO NOT EAT HERE! RUDE ASIAN LADY WORKING IN FRONT !! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I asked for sauce on side and paying $ 17 for short ribs and asking me to pay extra when I seen her do it for a previous customer and not charge her but turns around and tells me do it myself or get charged!!! I can get better service and food elsewhere!!! These people should not be in business!!! Had to give it one star to post but worth no stars!!!

My favorite teriyaki restaurant. I’ve tried other ones but I keep on coming back here. Very cheap.

The food is good, but the service sucks. It takes way too long to get my food. I waited almost half and hour last time. It was busy so I thought I’d give them another try. The next time I went the people who came in about 3 mins after me got their food before me, even though I ordered first. We both were eating inn. It sucks because the food is pretty good, I have tofu it’s average. They need speeder service.

Yum. This place is around the corner from where I work and I eat here way more than I should ;) Seriously good sushi. Quality is excellent. Very friendly folks. The Bentoo is the bomb-​diggity. Just sayin’.

I usually go here for teriyaki. But everytime I come here something always surprises me. One time I came in and the old lady upfront was FUCKING RACIST. (I’m asian btw) How I can tell? She took our order and she was rude as hell. Didn’t even greet us or anything. No smile at all. At First I didn’t care ’cause I was thinking she’s probably one of those grouchy old Asian ladies.
Then! A white guy came in and she fucking greeted and welcomed him with a smile on her face. Like trynna kiss his ass. Big ass change on the service she gave me.
Typical fob from Asia who thinks American are all that.
Just wanna share that experience.

Very busy place but the service was great and my food was made fast. Best Kung Pao chicken I’ve had.

We had the teriyaki chicken and were very happy with it. The restaurant was clean and the service was fa s t and courteous. This will be our go to place for teriyaki!

Shitty services! And it’s sad because I’ve come here for years and have never had an issue. However they’ve clearly changed owners. If when my mother is about to order her food and you walk away, I’m walking out. I’ll never go again!

Nice little husband and wife small business with the wife working the front and the husband doing the cooking. The restaurant is kept very clean and organized with it being not too big. The lady was very friendly as others have mentioned here on Unilocal and service was quick.
I had ordered the Mongolian beef which I thought was a bit weird being this is a teriyaki restaurant, but after I had ate my meal it was very good. The serving size was adequate, but I wish they had put more rice on the plate. The beef was seasoned nicely plus I really enjoyed the slices of green onion which it was cooked with.
They do offer a daily special menu which starts from when they open until 2:00. There were many choices to choose from and the one thing that will get me back as a return customer if I ever need a hankering for some teriyaki.

Been coming here for years, and the food has always been good and consistent!
I always like getting their lunch special bento box, it has a little of everything, a smaller portion of teriyaki chicken & rice, salad, 3pc gyoza, and 4pc california roll. I like having some variety and not just all chicken and rice with the normal #1. It’s only $ 2 more and way worth it!
The staff is really friendly, and loves dogs!

This place is probably one of my favorite teriyaki joints. Pretty authentic and great service. The flavoring is good. They have the teriyaki chicken as their lunch special with very reasonable price.

Accident on 405 north brought me here for the first time today. I was turned off by some of the reviews but the chicken teriyaki was good, right amount of sauce, not too sweet, no MSG, very friendly woman at the front counter, fast service, hot perfectly grilled food, only thing I wanted was more rice. Perfect meal before getting back on 405 to battle traffic.

Was very surprised to have have the friendly service as other had said it wasn’t friendly.
I ordered the spicy chicken. Most spicy chicken is cooked spicy this one seems to be regular teriyaki chicken with just spicy sauce added. Probably a little bit under average. With incredible fast speed that I received my order I’m pretty sure that chicken had been sitting there in the warming drawer. The rice was pretty much just your average steamed rice and the salad was just okay.
Overall this place seems pretty average but there’s some other things on the menu I definitely want to go back and try.
