Usually the food is great here and I have no issues. But today I found an ant in the bottom of my large drink. It makes me question if any bugs made it into my food. Because of the ant I won’t be coming back to this Taco Time.

Good place. Clean with a large parking lot. I used the drive thru. It was Christmas Eve and it was really busy. Took a while to get my food but believe it was just the rush. Only complaint is I asked for two hot sausce and they were not even half filled. Next time I will just ask for four if that’s how they fill them?

I have to really be in the mood for Taco Time. The food is not very Mexican authentic but up till a few years ago my friend told me that she used to work at Taco Time. She explained that almost everything is made fresh everyday and not a lot of things are cooked from a frozen package. Hmmmmmm maybe ill eat here more often. My faves here are the cilantro lime chicken salad with a chicken crisp burrito. They also have one of those crazy soda machines that can mix 100 different flavors.

I’m from California and I always look forward to coming here when visiting family in Seattle. The crisp burritos are pretty much the only items I get. And you can never say no to mexi-fries! Just wish there was a franchise opening up in Sacramento. There’s nothing like Taco Time over here. I’ll have to come back when I visit Seattle again!

Taco time is usually my go-to place because it has great salads and it’s easy to eat healthier there. The location by my house is being remodeled so we drove down to this location. The service in the drive thru was great, hence more than 1 star. But the ranch sauce is different than all other locations. It was gross, almost like Hidden Valley salad dressing! Blech! It almost had a consistency of a powdered dressing that wasn’t mixed well. I couldn’t eat my salad. Not to mention I had a few bites of the beef from my salad with gristle/bone in it! That never happens at Taco Time! But like I said, great service and I give 2 stars for fresh delicious tomatoes and the fact they offer caffeine free diet coke, super rare!

I think it is just this location because the one I normally go to in Bellevue, is always on point. This Renton location just doesn’t do it right. I had walked in and placed our orders. We get the the ketchup and hot sauce dispensing, only to find out that both are out. We sit down wait for our order. The person walking with two trays gives us someone else’s order and gives them our order. I let her know thats not my order and she grabs the other tray that already been at the other customers table and brings it to me and walks away. I say, «excuse me but i am not going to eat this, it has already been tampered with by another customer». She comes back with an attitude and says if i want another one. I say uuum of course i do. She comes back with the same one. Im already irritated, it was busy and i didnt want to make a scene so we just throw our food away and went elsewhere.

Always the mexifries are over cooked! And they have messed up my order multiple time! Plus traffic to and from them sucks! Try the federal way one! Much better!

I work about 1 mile from this place, and to get something fairly low in calories and fresh, there is only a handful of places to go to, ANDTHISISONEOFTHEM. –I always custom order and they have NEVERMESSEDUPMYORDER –Friendly staff –Fairly quick service(faster than Jack In The Box)! –Food is made with decent quality(meaning that you don’t just get something sloppy someone threw together) –Inside has most tables always clean I have been going here for about 6 months and they have been consistent so far. I always see the staff having lots of fun and laughing so it seems that they also have a good connection with each other. I recommend you eat here, because I have no doubt you will agree with me. I have been to a few other taco times before but this is by far the best one!

O run here at lunch they are all of 4 miles from work. I have 30 mins to get there anf back. I have learned no matter how long the drive thru line is it will always be faster then going inside. I went inside by mistake once ended up being late to work. They service the dive thru first that was obvious 4 people working drive thru well the 2 that were lobby watched and waited. Not cool at all

Yeah, eaten here twice. I order the veggie burrito here, kind of my standby. Way too much ranch. And yeah, is there a mandate somewhere to stop putting actually food in my burritos and trick me with an over abundance of lettuce??? This taco time is very serious about recycling however, and gently reminds me to recycle when I am finished, which is kind of cool. Thumbs up for service and cleanliness, two stars for filling my iceberg lettuce quotient for the month.

I love this taco time the staff is very friendly the food is consistently good and it’s usually kept very clean, including the restrooms. The chicken crisp burritos are to die for, the trick is to order them with a side of their special ranch and use it as a dipping sauce! The tortilla chips are always so fresh tasting and their mild salsa blows every mexican restaurant in Renton out of the water. The tacos are fantastic, I usually order the tacos with ranch on them and it just turns your mouth into a sea of deliciousness. Their magic soda fountains are pretty cool, though I don’t drink pop, I love the fact they serve Seagrams Seltzer water. This is the only«fast food» place I’ll eat at!

Had one of the worst experiences yesterday. I was going to get gas at Safeway and offered to get my co-worker lunch because she was going to have to drive into that area for Taco Time lunch anyway. So I ordered, the girl gave me the bag and said ‘thank you’ so I drove away. When I got back to work, my co-worker asked where her drink was. I was sad… the drive-thru person forgot to give it to me and I didn’t even notice. I called the manager, who was very nice(Trin), and she apologized and offered a credit or a drink and a free dessert. I wanted to make things right with my co-worker, since I felt bad, and I went back for the drink and churros. When I got to the ordering spot, I told the drive-thru cashier(same girl who forgot my drink) that I was back for it and an order of churros. She tried to charge for the drink and churros. I clarified and told her that Trin told me to come back for the root beer, which was forgotten and then the dessert would be comped. The girl took off the drink and said ‘$ 1.63 at the first window’. I told her to speak with Trin about the free dessert and she said ‘Yeah… I remember who you are… first window’. I went up there and she said that it would be $ 1.63 still. I have a lot of patience with the food industry, waitresses, any type of service workers and customer service positions in general because I do work in a customer service based environment. I calmly told her that the manager said the churros were free and told her to speak with her for verification. She gave me the ‘eat shit’ look, proceeded to cross her arms and turn her entire back to the drive-thru window… omfg what??? I couldn’t help but laugh at the situation, because it was god damn ridiculous. She stood like that until the manager came over and politely handled the situation. Christ almighty!

Every time I eat here, I regret it. I have nothing against this specific location — it is actually clean and spacious, and the employees are not terrible. The food does not necessarily taste bad(I love fried food!). There is just something about Taco Time grease that makes me feel so sick. One thing that I do really love here is the touch screen soda machine that they have. It has so many drink options and is so fun for people who are easily entertained!

This Taco Time is ALWAYS packed to the brim at lunch time. I much prefer to go through the drive-thru. It moves much quicker and the staff at the window seem to be a lot friendlier than the staff at the counter. Last time I ate inside this location, I almost couldn’t find a place to sit. It took quite a while for my food to come out. By the time I ate and left, the line was nearly out the door. Granted, they can’t help the fact that they are popular… but it’s clear that they need to find a way to expedite the process because there are a ton of people ordering and, in turn, people wait a long time for their food. However, like I mentioned before, no long line in the drive-thru. There’s only even been like 3 or 4 cars ahead of me and the line moves extremely quick. If you’re going to visit this location, definitely go to the drive-thru!

Taco time is amazing. You do need to know how to order what you like, for example– I like my dressing on the side or things tend to get a bit soggy(ewww, soggy lettuce). I prefer the cassita burrito or just the standard beef soft taco(I’m getting hungry right now…) they also have the good ice cubes, the little poop turd cubes– that are easy to chomp on as you finish your drink. If you want a quesadilla, I wouldnt reccomend Taco Time, Taco Bell makes that kind of cheesy mess. Although the kids meal quesadilla’s aren’t bad, just a bit smaller then the bell’s version. Service here is always good, and I always run into co-workers during lunch time– great minds think alike.

I don’t know if I am debasing myself by Unilocaling a Taco Time, but be that as it may, here goes… Coming home from work one evening this week, didn’t want to deal with I-90 traffic between Bellevue and Seattle(beware when those Mariners are playing) so drove around the lake by way of Renton and had a sudden craving for a quesadilla, so I stopped off here at Taco Time. My simple order of a quesadilla threw the counter help into a tizzy because the only quesadilla they have is part of a «Kid’s Deal» and they just didn’t know how to ring up a single quesadilla. Finally, the manager had to be called over to punch the right key on the cash register. I won’t review the quesadilla because what can you say about cheese melted in a tortilla. Will say that I did order a crispy chicken burrito. And on first bite I realized those cabrones(politely, son-of-a-guns) put tiny bits of cilantro into it. That’s still too much cilantro, so the burrito was yielded as unedible.
