Spring Glen Day Care Center

My son has been going to this day care for several months now. This is the first school/​daycare he has ever attended as his father and I have always had opposite shifts so we could avoid the high cost of childcare. My son was equally excited to go to school the first day as he is now. The teachers I have interacted with have been wonderful, extremely helpful, and understanding. The cost is reasonable (about $ 41 a day) and has a part time option. The school appears to be clean, and in order. I have never heard or seen any of the children being mistreated as an earlier post eludes to. Right now I have nothing negative to report and hope that my optimistic view does not change within time. I would recommend this day care to any parent who is looking for affordable care in the area.

Don’t bring your kid (s) here!!! Worst daycare center ever!
First of all this place stinks. The toddler teacher is very rude to the kids! She yells at them all the time and tells them to shut up instead of teaching them manners by saying be quiet please. I went to this center because they are open until 8 pm mon-​fri and i thought having my child in a center would be safer than having him at a home child care. After seeing the way the teacher treated the kids i could not leave my 3 year old there on his first day. On top of that there was only one teacher for 10 kids! She would allow the kids to leave the classroom which to me is not safe.
I would not suggest this place to anyone.

AVOID THIS INSTITUTION AT ALL COSTS!
The facilities are disgustingly dirty and the teachers, majority, do not speak or write English very well and do not keep up with their personal hygiene!
My son went to this facility and when it came time to graduate to a higher age room, he had to keep going back to the younger rooms because there were too many children and not enough teachers! This was unacceptable!
ADDITIONALLY I arrived to pick my son up early and they had him TAPED TO A CHAIR in order to feed him! When I picked him up he was screaming, had a dirty diaper that he had sat in for so long that his feces turned into a substance like hardened clay and was so hungry that he was crying and couldn’t get food fast enough!
When I complained and told them I wasn’t coming back, they had the nerve to send me a 450 dollars «cancellation» fee!!! When I called during tax time to get their tax ID number, they REFUSED to give me the information (even though its required by law) unless I paid them that money, which is akin to extortion!
ALSO you HAVE to pay for holidays, even though they are closed! You HAVE to pay even if your child DOES NOT go to their facility! I had a day off and spent it with my son and they SENT ME A BILL for the day he wasn’t there!
This place is going to be shut down when I am done with it.
