Meet the Business Owner
Ken H.
Business Owner
Ken Harms, 49, graduated from Fox Chapel High School in Pittsburgh, PA with honors. A BS in Mechanical Engineering with High Honors was earned from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in 1986. Immediately after graduation, Ken was employed by Boeing Commercial Aircraft in Renton where he advanced to lead stress engineer on the 757 by 1989. He then accepted a management position with Aim Aviation as the Lead Design Engineer, where he remained until 1992.
In 1992, Ken started Renton Collision Center. The Harms purchased the building occupied by RCC in April, 1998. RCC recently completed a major expansion of their building, including shop and office leasehold improvements costing over $ 300K.
