Dr. So was my dentist as a child and I know I was not easy to treat. It wasn’t like it is now and he isn’t a pediatric dentist in particular, but he was always kind and patient with me.
What I realize now, as an adult, is that the hearts of this dentist and his wife, who is the hygienist, are genuine and they are honest-​to-​God just very good people. I give him a high rating based on the fact that they will not try to overcharge you or swindle you, they have been in business FOREVER, and for the Chinese community– they are an excellent choice because they are fluent in Cantonese. I would say the only thing is that some people may not be comfortable going to an older dentist, less confident in the abilities of someone who isn’t young and forty years old. But he has years of experience under his belt. They also don’t call you and basically «solicit» your business… I know that times are hard out there and even dentists have to hustle clients in, but these are not those types of dentists. They are their own front office, so I never have to deal with pushiness and front office staff constantly trying to get me in for my cleaning. I simply just appreciate these people very much.
